Texas lost-again. :D

Hopefully a coach with passion for the game AND his players. Players who will follow their coach through hell if need be. Hmm?

Just shows how weak minded a few people are.........it is OK that Silsbee year in and year out has likely one of the best teams in the state and yet they have NOTHING to show for it!!!! Sucks Tiger fans, don't it!!! ;D ;D ;D
We have had our chances to win State Championships but we have fallen short every time Yeah it sucks but I feel with the athletes that Silsbee puts out that it’s only a matter of time But until that day comes we will just have settle for watching Silsbee beat HJ and winning district Championships ;D ;D Anybody from HJ ever in Olympics? I guess the answer to that was NO It’s ok HJ to only have success @ the High School level
It's not that big of a deal to not have won a state championship. Thats true of the great majority of teams. Silsbee has been in a position a number of times to win it all, but have not had the luck a team needs to make that happen. Most would give their right arm just to be in Silsbees position. My guess is that if they keep getting in the right position, it's going to happen one day.
True. Very true.
thats what HF would claim after their whooping by a bunch of 13 and 14 year olds :D
Okay, I remember a certain time in 2010, the HF Senior Little Dribblers met the P.A. Seniors (in 8th & 9Th grade now) at Edison Middle. HF walked in the gym and you could tell the P.A. players had this look like they wanted to laugh at the chumps walking in the gym. To make a long story short, P.A. decided to start a running clock in the second half to hurry up and get the game over because HF would have fouled out all their "top" players and won the game. HF was wearing that butt out *ouch!* In other words, HF could beat PA's 9th graders with our group of 8th and 9 th graders with a certain coach I know from HF ;)
:D please stick to the facts dove. i dont remember that, i do know we beat that tail pretty bad and you started talking bout your kids aau team would come down and whip us. its simple want some.... come get some. but yall have never beat us ;)
Oh-hh okay! It's like that huh? Your top players were fouling like crazy. 2nd half, yall decided to start a running clock because HF would have fouled out your players. And no, P.A. didn't beat us bad. That running clock helped yall in the 2nd half, coach. In fact, you were at the table now that I'm thinking about it. ;)
90% of teams in D1 are stepping stones so that's nothing unique to Lamar. The key is making Lamar a program that keeps attracting the up and coming coaches. That's what they had in the 80's so now they have to rebuild back up to that.
80'S? Do you realize how long ago that was? Different times and different rules.
And the times and rules have gotten progressively worse. It is now harder for a smaller program to do what LU did back in the late 70's early 80's.
You are so correct.
