[/quote]But TB, the starters didn't start the 4th qtr AND HJ LOST THEIR MAIN PLAYER in the 3rd qtr. HF didn't take advantage of the situation. From what I was hearing from last year and this year, loing becomes a habit and is expected at HF. The situation at HF is bigger than allowing seniors to play in the last game. They had their chances. Its about building a good winning attitude.

If the coach is teaching the game and preparing the team for another level of play, I don't care if he yells. Not enough to make a kid quit.

Are you kidding? I heard there were schools in Houston running from Cleveland.

I guess there is always next year to look forward for HF

Did you see HJ settle back in the game. They wanted to win. They could have lost and still went to the playoffs.

I guess now that I will be cheering for HJ we'll just call-off this bet. ;D

I still think the biggest story about this game is that HF could have won it. 8)

Those twins have been under the radar since they were in about the 5th or 6th grade. Coached by their dad and even at age 16, he is still coaching them. They have received "superstar" status and now everybody catches up in high school and it ain't as easy no more. The kids are not perfect but you as a parent have to be there to make sure attitudes are kept in check. But you're right, in this case I do blame the AAU class culture.

They put themselves in a position to make the game close and a possible win. Me and Dawg13 think the HF coach is a very nice person but his coaching techniques are poor. There is no logical reasoning behind his substitutions as far as trying to put the best talent on the floor together to win. He basically coached the same way throughout the season. I have to somewhat disagree here with Dawg13 because he finally made some changes in minutes played for several players who lacked talent. Dawg13 brings up the point that there was no true tryout to get your best talent on varsity as evidenced when both underclassmen were brought up and started varsity. Dawg13 also says that several players on that team were better fitted to be team managers or cut from the team, especially since this was the first year that the coach did not have to follow a no-cut policy. I may have missed one or two points but not that much ;)
