You need to run, stop, pass, shoot, dribble AND THINK all at the same time and within seconds to make your decision. Football is much easier. You go to huddle and rest. That gives you time to think about what you're going to do next. So if a qb can play basketball, its just added incentive that he is a potential athlete in the making. ;)

Bringing in the underclassmen huh? Hmmm? That means the new players will put pressure on the older players to perform in practice and games. Probably a good move by the coach. It keeps pressure off him for awhile. Especially if it works in the next few weeks.
