Take Kountze and HJ in the HJ tournament final last year (2009).  Brey got his 4th foul early in the 3rd and Kountze wasn't the same after that.  I'm not saying any of the calls on Brey were bad, but you can see how a couple of calls can potentially cost a team the game. [/quote] I will defend 86hawk.............Having foul trouble does not cause you to make a bad pass, miss FT's, miss open shots, etc.  What it may cause is for you to place less aggressive on offense and defense, but not cause missing shots and TO's!!!!!! [/quote]That may be the whole purpose. To play less aggressive and more in control w/o hurting someone.

And I thought I had seen it all..wow! And the other ref didn't step in to help.

I saw something last night that I've heard about but never witnessed at the public school level. A parent asking the coach why his kid didn't play in the game. I guess this is what happens at the 3-A and below level :o :o

[/quote]Please don't read too much in to this, but no he can't.  I'm not calling out anyone nor hatting on anyone, but the Rebels do not have a point guard.  A point guard is someone that CAN break a press and penetrates to make things happen.  And they haven't had one of those in a long time!  Sure, there are a couple kids that can dribble well and can pass well and can bring the ball down when not pressed, but so can I!!!  A true point guard is a must to beat good teams, and I'm not talking about OCC or HI or their on JV, I mean good teams!  I have no idea why but the point has been a problem at Evadale for a while.  The senior some have been talking about was too wild IMO.  Good athlete but could not protect the ball.
