Talent can make an average coach look good

Funny, critics for Wheatley would say the same thing. They thought all they did was run up and down the court with no half court game. You can't argue with a successful system.

I'm a firm believer that talent will make an average coach look good.

BTW, the runner up, HJ, made it to the regional finals losing to Silsbee. With 21-3A sending a team to the state tourney for 5 straight years I believe gives the appearance of a tough district. Only one team has been the cellar dwellar every year in this district. [/quote] 3 of the six teams in the district for the last five with three different teams....Pretty darn tough district no matter if it is from suburbia dove....I would say that there is not another 3 A district in the state that can say that in the last 5 years. Coach Wise great job for winning State. Passed the ball 5-times b4 they shot it. I hope this wasn't in Austin at a State Final?

Who remembers UNLV vs Duke game in early 90's? Poor UNLV all those good players and poor little Duke with the surburban kids.
