2009-10 Lamar Men's Basketball Schedule
BLUEDOVE3 replied to NickKBTV's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I guess I was expecting something better. Doesn't leave a lot of room for win/loss error now. Bad season and it looks bad for the coaches. -

You guys should really look at his homecoming as act of love to his setexassports family. -
I notice that when you quoted the statement and compared BO to Frederick Douglass, you left off the part about "a nice-looking guy". he was "distinguished"... ;D And he had a white wife
-
Great idea, lets change the thread to North Lutheran High's basketball team 2009-2010
-
That's subject to opinion. Ain't no opinion if you comparing me to Brown.

I remember talking to a kid in Dallas who at the time was in high school about 3 years ago. He gave me some advice and the pitfalls about kids playing in AAU. I'm sure it holds true to high school ball. He told me he would recommend any kid to seek and find a sorry team to play on. I'll let those who are willing to ponder on this advice.

The system will still be there but this is the year it begans to show wear and tear in 3-A 8)

Obviously HJ has a great system in place for their guys out there and it works.

"The first main stream African-American who is articulate and bright....." Gee, and I always thought Fredrick Douglas (one of many) filled that description.

Maybe he is or maybe he isn't. He is almost certainly more educated if that matters. Here are some questions. Does intelligence make a person right in political decisions? If a test is given and it is discovered that I have a higher IQ than others on this board, does that invalidate their political arguments? Should the presidency be determined by IQ if it really matters? If so, let's just give a test and pick the smartest man/woman. Does education really matter? My brother has 4 college degrees, 2 bachelors and 2 masters. He is working on his 3rd masters. I would venture to guess that he is way more educated and probably has a lot higher IQ than Palin, Obama, McCain or Biden. I wonder if my brother should be the next President of the United States. Do you actually realize how easier it is to get a Masters than a B.A.? Do you really know how hard it is to finish just first year of law school? I don't think you have a clue. Evidently you don't have a masters degree Evidently, you don't have a law degree!!

HJ probally wont win over thirty games this year.....another down year. Yep, you can kinda see Dandy Don singing *turn off the lights* for HJ. But I'm sure it was fun while it lasted Yes, HJ is anticipating the total domination that will take place from 2012-2015 Could there be a computer glitch that interfers with the Global System these three years? NO- There will not be any glitches. One individual continues to occupy a dreamworld and I am simply adding fuel to the fire. By then, I can assure you that the arc of many of the shots taken will be influenced by a micro- signal from certain Ipods. Certain "uncooperative" referees will experience excessive amounts of electricity in their systems. Gestapo needs to get "up to speed" in the technology world or it will lose much of its effectiveness. Its going to be real interesting. And you have no idea that you all are heading straight towards a train wreck. Some of us are just not as "enlightened" as others. Thats because you don't listen.

I wondered if Obama ever took Geography when he mentioned visiting all 57 states! Oh please, I hope you're not trying to tie in this statement with that racist email going around at one time, when he was campaigning?

Besides, as you have stated, degrees are no indicator of intelligence! Nope, never attended LU or Harvard, nor do I have 4 Doctorates or six Masters. : :

But let me get back on topic here: What would Palin do if she were president of the United States and there were ethics investigations, Snow asked. The answer is priceless. Palin says that if she were president of the United States, the "Department of Law" would throw most of them out. The Department of what? The ABC editors felt the need to include a line telling online readers there is no Department of Law in the United States government. We already know Palin's education is a little, shall we say spotty. But Department of Law? You have to wonder if she took high school civics. :D

Good, a point of agreement. I just think it is bad in political arguments to make statements about the other party's candidate that very well might apply to your own. You may not have done so but others certainly have. It is like my old argument about war records. When Bob Dole ran against Bill Clinton, the Democrats thought that a true war hero meant nothing. Fast forward a few years and when it is John Kerry against George Bush, all of a sudden the war record is of utmost importance. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Sorry, but B.O. is definitely smarter/intelligent than Palin.
