  1. COME ON DOVE, YOU KNOW VERY WELL THAT HE AUTHORIZED IT BECAUSE IT ALLOWED HIM TO EVALUATE POTENTIAL RECRUITS. yeah, but I don't think Dickie likes AAU events. So I'm sure he didn't okay the use of the gyms Dove, please be reminded that Universal Offseason is the only thing that can possibly derail the anticipated 2012-2015 State Championship(s). Nash, rumors are beginning to fly there may be some transfers from the 2015 class out of HF. Universal Offseason may be a part of the problem.
  2. Hey - I thought the University of Houston was the most popular school on this forum. And with all this love for the Cougars, you are dogging Joseph? That's a bit out of the ordinary by the standards set here... SHSU has actually peeled back on the number of transfers from FBS in the last year or two. Nowadays, if it is not a QB or a major playmaker (i.e Chris Brown), we're not interested. And hey - you guys got "A&M's sloppy seconds" if you want to be consistent and analyze your own program like you do mine. And from the looks of it, will be taking on many more "sloppy seconds" from FBS schools. : Why would SHSTU not be interested in a 'sloppy second?" Aren't THE SLOPPYS considered better than a lowly D1 player ( SHSU is a low D1, RIGHT?)?
  3. Those are the freaks of nature-Lebron, Kobie, etc.
  4. He doesn't have to ''claim'' to be a role model to become one. All he needs is Superstar status. They don't ''want to go to jail like him''. They overlook the fact that he is a criminal....and I ain't dumb dovesoap. Ooops! Sorry about that. I was referring to joebdun who mentioned role models. Criminal? I hope you don't eat beef, because you're considered a criminal for killing and eating beef.
  5. John Lucas' Invitational Camp Right Way for 8th and 9th graders from all across the country. Before all the NCAA rule changes, the camp consisted of major D-1 coaches doing the teaching. Now he has D-2, D-3 etc to get around the ruling.
  6. Get to be close to Momma and Pappa. Okay, I can accept this rationale.

  8. And I'm still waiting for joedumb to prove he said he was a role model.
  9. So these players are transferring from major D-1 programs to a sub-par conference? Whats the reasoning, besides wanting to play on a regular basis?
  10. Shoot, just buy the strip joint and import the dancers to your fab crib.
  11. Hey Dickie, I think your school gym was one of several used this past weekend for an AAU tourney. If so, was it you who gave permission to be used? Not sure if your on the payroll yet.
  12. And whats wrong with Mike Vick? Nothing, if you like ex-cons as role models. Show me where he has proclaimed to be a role model?
  13. And whats wrong with Mike Vick?
  14. The word is that the kid missed a lot of days from school. But obviously he remained eligible for the season.
  15. Why is it hard to watch?
  16. See, just when Blacks and Whites are agreeing and seemingly coming together, we get a southern moderator to imply it's about money and not justice. Back to the battlefield ;D
  17. :D "there are these black guys everywhere officer! Its like a 100 of them, and they are about to attack me right now! all of them officer!! HELP! They are looking at me!" (screaming) :D You would have a completely different view if it was a guy dressed in a white sheet! : In 2009...Dude would get knocked out, beat down, and drug away!!!....We don't play that mess!!! Please...Have one of your boys give THAT a shot...They are the biggest cowards on the planet...I would LOVE to meet one...LOVE to....You know what.... I bet there are some members or sons/grandsons of members on THIS VERY SITE...I would put money on it..SE Texas? Oh yeah.. definitely.. 'On this very site?" Man, you mean on this very thread "you people" are so sarcastic. Well at least you have a 'smiley" behind your comment
  18. So although you understand their plight, you don't necessarily agree with the means they are taking to achieve their goal. OK...that makes sense. Now how would YOU, as a black man, suggest they reach their goal of ensuring justice and equality? With some of the actions I've seen/heard about the NBPP tactics (intimidation/threats etc.) it seems to me that they are nothing more than a self-serving group who wants to gain media attention...and money from other blacks as black representation (case in point:the Laday case). Similar to an extent to the "reverend" up North who cares nothing more than lining his pockets with black folks money and 15 minutes of fame weekly in the media. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. must be turning in his grave...::smh:: Interesting comment because I remember when Dr. King was being vilified for speaking up FOR BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS in this country. Now you want to use him as your example. And for the record, as much as the media tries and divide our community concerning Al, he actually has some rather interesting thoughts about problems going on today.
  19. wow! They were scary. I saw the white girl in the background running around on the cell phone calling 9-1-1. I think the guy witht the club was getting ready to attack her. : :
  20. Gee, I'll be happy when Hamshire-Fannett gets the internet and then the coaches at the middle school can read this
  21. Yes. D. Frank MAY be attending a private prep school in D.C. And what would be the reasons?
