  1. It's all about the politics baby! Personally, I'd love for Saveat to get the job. I know the guy.
  2. In 4 years, HJ will be hit so hard by HF in basketball. I bet it's gonna feel funny with a Longhorn up your rear Dove, if you want that to come true, you'd better use your power and influence to keep those future champs out of Universal Off Season. If anything can derail them, that certainly will. yeah that worrie me. They already have the 6th graders running sprints to see what position they may play (football) in the 7th grade. >
  3. I think the BISD boad are forum readers and they saw us naming TW. Now Joubert may be called into the mix.

  5. Dove, it's amazing how you predict things and they come true
  6. Who is that? Little C?
  7. i think he let dove calculate the scores Gett'n nervous? Just wait until 2013-2015 I just wish you are around to see it ;D [/quote Do you know something that I don't?
  8. Maybe yall upset because Joubert's name is being thrown around among *some* board members and is stirring the pot a little more now.
  9. Haven't you considered that there are some people on the board that feel there are too many Saveats'? Think hard!
  10. i think he let dove calculate the scores Just wait until 2013-2015 I just wish you are around to see it ;D
  11. Meaning that someone wants to make sure Saveat isn't just given the job without a little sweat.
  12. Wow! With combined scores look at the school that comes in 2nd place; Hamshire Fannett
  13. Man you are old!
  14. Fellas, it's just a job for a coaching position. No earth shattering position that wil change the fate of the academic world.
  15. Lucky for us, we have competitive girl teams ;D Guess that "bad connection" isn't as bad as indicated. iT goes in and out ...darn weather.
  16. Lucky for us, we have competitive girl teams ;D
  17. I must confess, Dove, that I am absolutely shocked and dismayed. I just can't believe that a man of your dignity and refinement would suggest such a name change. Maybe you should change your moniker to " HF Classes of 2013-2015, State Champs" Okay, maybe I was too harsh. How about "Steve Nash Sucks Sometimes." ;D Stevie, thats what I like about you, you get back up don't you? Now, that's "change we can believe in"

  19. T.W. will get the job and let's see what a certain coach does at a certain 3-a school off 365 area. Stevie, if I'm correct, I want you to moniker to, " Steve Nash Sucks."
  20. I agree. If this was Saveat's job all along, why go through all this unnecessarily? Unless of course there is a possibility of someone else getting this job. Birds are singing! Hmm? Some thing aren't what they appear :-X
  21. good points
  22. Come on, fellas. You are degrading the greatest high school basketball player ever to don a uniform in the Golden Triangle. I hope Dicky V is reading this and will give his input. Dickie's not going to fall for this. You guys miss him and you know it. Why don't you all admit it. Your poor pathetic lives have made a turn for the worse. The hot beaming rays from the sun remind you of the day you all will be shipped to purgatory.
  23. Nos to Silsbee.......hmmmm! Wondering what formula you are using when predicting a 10 year olds height will be 6'5- 6'8? And Bluedove to Ozen I'm not on the Ozen bandwagon at this time :-* Maybe so, but I heard they are going to offer you a $500,000 signing bonus. Keep in mind that this prevents Ozen from being dominated by HF in 2012. hmmm! Now you,re beginning to get too deep into my personal business :-X I apologize for the depth of my intervention. Besides, I should have already known that an individual of your integrity and resources would NEVER be swayed by such a bonus offer. VIVA the HF 2012 squad. Stevie I promise you, if we mix the 2013,2014 and 2015 players together, it would be one of the most athletic teams in basketball HF will have in a long time. It would be a coach's dream in the 3-A division. Possible 6'5"- 6'8" post, quick athletic guards and good wings. fORMULA? Let's dosome natural progression. C'mon help me add this one up. (1)12 year who is 6'2" (2) see #1 I had no idea that a 12 year olds current height attributed to his growth rate. Who is to say he wont be 7 foot? Thats what I say! He still has time to grow more by high school. He could be at that range by high school. And HJ better be shaking in their boots ;D Dove, I hope you are right but becoming tall does not assure anything as far as competency in basketball is concerned. Additionally, when the 1991 HJ state championship team was in the 8th grade, the tallest kid on that team wound up being the shortest one by the time they won the title. I suspect there was a lot of excitement when Manute Bol came into this world. Lets see, how many titles did he acquire and how many all star appearances did he make? Nash, I know talent. I develop talent. I'm well aware of what you're saying. I've seen in my lifetime several big men and a few were teammates of mine. And they were AWFUL when they started out playing the game. Two became ALL-Americans and another NBA Hall of Famer But let me get back to my point I'm really making here. In fact, this is the only point that I keep repeating. I'm jealous of HJ's program and HF's program gets no respect and probably rightfully so. BUT! HF has some kids that are being groomed to take HF to another level with their 2013, 2014 & 2015 class. And if I'm still around by this time, I'll be first in line cheering these guys on and I'll get on this forum still "talking smack." If you have teamates who became all americans and one an NBA Hall of Famer then you didnt take many opportunities did you? :o ??? ??? ???

Don't you mean you help develop players who are talented? The talent was God given, not developed by you. Yep.you're right! But we're still kicking HJ's butt with this developed talent.
