  1. 100 to 0 ? ? Not running up the score ? OK whatever, but that is not why he was fired--- Over the weekend he developed "Mouth Diahreah" -- (he had suurvived the 100-0 score) - But his attitude afterward sealed his fate.. okay, if my team is far superior than yours, what am I to do? Just pass the ball around? If the team is that bad, maybe they should disband the team or go play in a "Y" rec league.
  2. Stop the whining. LU lost to a better team Well I want to cheat too... So you want to take the focus off of LU for right now.
  3. I don't think you really want to go there. I didn't attend Hamshire Fannett. HJ's record can't come close to my high school's basketball accomplishments. HJ could have a winning season for the next decade and it still won't come close to my high school's record and tradition. 8) 8)
  4. Mediocre? This team continues to improve and is only going to get better. Sure, not one of the best SHSU teams under Marlin, but at the end of the season, they may be pretty close to reaching that group. Sam Houston use to have some powerhouses back in the day. Times have changed.
  5. It was a compliment mixed in with.............................
  6. From what I've read and heard, the coach did not run the score up. He took out his starters and played his remaining bench players. I would always teach a kid to play hard no matter what the score.
  7. Haahahha! Actually, I'm not sure about Twin County and Hardin Jefferson. I'm thinking Twin County is the youth group which feeds into the HJ school system? At any rate, we have the Twin County youth basketball in our pockets 8) I figure yall just late bloomers out there.
  8. I'd see it (confidence)too if my job was being evaluated on the negative side
  9. Must you continue to remind us of your school's success? We all get it ;D HARDIN-JEFFERSON HIGH FLYING HAWKS 3-TIME STATE CHAMPIONS 1967, 1991 and 2007 6-TIME REGIONAL CHAMPIONS 11-TIME AREA CHAMPIONS 14-TIME BI-DISTRICT CHAMPIONS 23-TIME DISTRICT CHAMPIONS HARDIN-JEFFERSON HAWKS---A BASKETBALL TRADITION!!!!
  10. I've cheered for them this season. I want them to win. I'm okay
  11. It's brewing on the forum. But I think you are saying we are not worthy to be a rival....sheez! ;D
  12. ok...seriously? ...this is the comment that was made... (as the gym went silent...due to NO SPIRIT from the HORNS) "HEY, MAYBE YALL SHOULD LET THE CHEERLEADERS PLAY...AT LEAST THE GAME WOULD LOOK A LITTLE BETTER" clearly a statement that complements the HORNS CHEERLEADERS...sayin they looked good that night...they laughed...??? how was this a comment that is low class????? Im not puttin you down zeek...cuz i know you stick up for us pretty often (and we appreciate it) ....but really what is wrong with that???? ??? ??? It obviously was bad enough that it caught the eye (or the ear) of the HF Admin and a cop. You guys usually do a great job and you will need to show up in full strength Tuesday night at WOS and for sure Friday against Silsbee. No harm done. haha no problem and we will be ...oh and you know that it was clearly a case of HF just getting mad because HJ was dominating thier world once again...they cant handle that we are better...just like the kid gettin the Tech...haha and you should know that nothin "LOW-CLASS" comes out of NOME, TX.....see ya tuesday You what, I'm going take whatever is given from this rivalry. The middle schools play this week and I'm going to be on here bragging on Friday. In fact, I'll be out there carefully walking past the cow dung to the gym and find my seat to cheer HF to victory. :P
  13. While I'm not that optimistic about LU winning the conference, I also know that there are no dominate teams in the SLC so LU can win most of their remaining games if they at least give 100%. I can agree with your assessment. I'm still going to cheer for the LU team.
  14. I'm beginning to like the reality from the LU fans now. It's refreshing to see.
  15. limited why? Good ol' HF defense.
  16. Hoops, you know you wrong for this :D
  17. Stop the whining. LU lost to a better team
  18. First of all, I don't think its appropriate to name players on a local forum like this on such a personal issue. But granted, age does make a big difference. But most national associations allow "age exceptions" to play, even Little Dribblers. I can think of one who only allows the correct age to play, and I think it's Basketball Congress International (BCI). It's common for age exceptions to play at most levels. But I've found out that the one's who do the most crying are the parents whose kid may not be that good in that particular sport.
  19. Sheez! We can't even get any respect with 5 6'8" transfers : :
  20. Okay, I know some people are gonna get upset because I'm putting it out but the truth must be exposed. But, what is it going to take to get a basketball power at Hamshire Fannett?
  21. And theres only one way to change that scene
  22. Oh please, look how UTA started last season. We blew them out of their socks at our house on in mid Feb. on valentines day, then they upset us and make us look like we weren't worthy to get into the conference tournament. As long as we do enough to get in the tournament then who knows what will happen. I love this guy! :
  23. And another thing, pressure will be mounting if they can't find a way to get it togother.
