  1. Hmmm? You have this down pretty good fella.
  2. I'll go out on a limb and say the Jay Brown will live up to his potential and make the All-SLC team at the end of the season. Rivals had him as a 3 star recruit when Lamar got him last year so it's time for him to shine. Let me put it out there like this: Somebody has to step up and it might as well be Brown.
  3. See, I told you guys in an earlier post of mine that Lamar needs to hide that dreadful view of Mobil behind it, expecially when LU have some quality recruits visit the campus. The article agrees with me. Yeah, I know it's not Mobil back there but it's all the same to me. A chemical company with smoking stacks.
  4. If he didn't talk about the 9-10 season, then he must have talked about LU's graduation rate, right????
  5. Dang, now maybe the economy will start up on an upswing
  6. LU will have some sleepers from the walk-ons to star in the program.
  7. Every player should have the opportunity to participate in one of his camps in Houston.Excellent teaching and quality players
  8. He's a baller I'll give that to him.
  9. Man, I guess I need to put wos on the same list with hj as equal foes to contend with in the coming months.
  10. Nos, there are plenty of kids who are grade exceptions playing sports. No big deal because it is quite common these days. There are some some schools that use 5th year seniors to play on their competitive basketball programs, especially in the big cities. Lighten up!
  11. It's raining and the field will be wet. Just like we like it. GO H-F
  12. I agree. Here is my prediction and yeah I'm putting myself out on the limb with this prediction, but I don't care. H-F or WOS will win the game. There will be no tie. The team with blue in their uniform will win this match.
  13. oKAY, what is your son's name?
  14. Okay, you meant to type 22, right? 5th year prep school star in the making. If you couldnt tell my post was based solely on sarcasm. Yep, I knew it. My post was too ;D
  15. Oh man, that was cold and cruel
  16. Good point! No matter what game you play, we need officials to regulate the game. They are not perfect like us
  17. What does that mean? Don't read into this wrong BMTSoulja,it was just something that I experienced with him one on one, good kid though. I said that becasue I might know more than you think I do... So what does this mean?
  18. Still showing a lack of respect for Longhorn football. Like I've said before, H-F is in a position to become spoilers this year.
  19. A sad day in sports I would say.
  20. I hope you guys aren't talking about my Vidor friend who refs. He keeps it interesting during a boring game.
  21. Wow! Too many coaches can be bad. Too many people giving (mis) directions. Queen, don't hurt anyone
  22. I don't care what daddy ball coaches say. I haven't met a coach to this day who has a child playing in a key skilled position, whether it's football or basketball. But I hear it's just as bad in baseball. Your son plays quarterback because he is the best player on your team at this position? Or because he is the best at handing the ball off to the running backs?
  23. You don't always need great recruits to get the job done, but it helps to have a coach who knows how to bring the best out of his/her player's abilities.
  24. Man, sometimes I do long for the good ol' days. Scandal, sex, cheating and illegal players in college sports. I had a dad tell me this past weekend his son isn't accepting any offers from schools unless they offer something under the table. The men's basketball program (UTCC), led by former Miami coach Perry Clark, is also a target of the report. The NCAA alleges an assistant coach made at least 43 impermissible phone calls to four recruits. A separate allegation involves the program providing impermissible recruiting inducements to a possible transfer, including transportation to the border town of Laredo so the player could renew his immigration documentation. Included among the allegations is a secondary violation involving men's basketball, in which the NCAA said Teter told Clark to use personal funds for recruiting and not program funds. Clark did not immediately return a call to his office on Saturday.
  25. Okay, you meant to type 22, right? 5th year prep school star in the making.
