You have to give more information about the student's situation. Maybe Kountze signed off... not transferring for academic reasons and... Maybe a parent lives in Ozen zone... and maybe...

What is so special about Ozen and basketball? Ozen is a football school. As I have said before, I have an older daughter who attended Ozen in mid 2000's as well. She did not want to go to HF.

I should have made myself clearer. I was speaking about parents in general and moving into a district. That coach SUPPOSE to live in that district in order for his kid to play varsity at his school.

No, I was referencing UIL rules about residency, parents and athletics

You can change from a so-called low performing school to..."higher performing academic school."

Those papers and waivers been round since the 1930's. I don't think its going to change.
