1.
Since I was the first to post White will be the 2013 QB  and Smith the 2014 I will say this about Seay. No doubt Seay would be a very capable QB for Ned. Reality is Ned is a much stronger team with Seay playing D and some O. Maybe WR, Wilddog or some form of ball handler. White and Smith are very capable QB's as well, but I'm not sure where they play if not QB. Both strengths are at QB and very capable to lead the Dogs. Ned has an abundance of talent for the next two years at least and I don't see Neumann employing a Vidor scheme (QB/LB) with Seay. Not saying he couldn't handle the job, but I don't see Neumann taking the chance with the talent he will have. On another note: Couron will likely be replaced by Jeron Johnson and Pryor by Holman
Can you ever really replace a Couron?  ;D  He will be missed as will Pryor.  Great players.  Joy to watch. As for White, nice arm.  White punts, too, not sure about receiving skills, good hands.  Smith could be linebacker and has great hands, could move out to TE as you will have Washington, and Stewart.  Like to see more to our TE.  Stewart (off subject  here) has great hands and is a strong runner, like what I have seen of him on varsity this season. Future is bright in Nederland 8) 8) 8) Broussard is amazing and has a host of fellow receivers that will be great next season as well....Borderlon and Richardson.  Richardson is a play maker and look forward to all that he can do as well.  Between, Broussard and Richardson receiving excitement ahead for Bulldogs.  Both with nice size and speed and add that Kimbler and a great running game.   8) 8) 8) 8) 8) And to mention, all these kids are team players and care about the program of "the Nederland Bulldogs." They work hard and would do whatever Neumann needed them to do for the team.  Great individuals on the football field and off, as well.
 2.
87, you sitting in on coaches meetings, if not, button up the plan for 2014, kind silly to hear this
Ndnomakong, In Nederland, we  let the coaches make the decision about QB. To not hear what is being said, means you are not at the right places in Nederland. I think it's kind of silly to say untrue things about some of these kids.  Be respectful, 04, I know you have a hard time doing that. And if you want to bash any of these kids, I will personally invite you to my house and you can tell what you know as fact.  That's an invite ;) As I have said, the future of Nederland is bright, how ever the coaches decide.  They must be living right in Nederland. 8) 8) 8)
 3. White is excellent as QB, strong arm, tall and athletic.  White is set to lead the Dogs next season and Smith to follow.  Smith is very confident in any sport he plays, very athletic, tall and great size.  Both run effective offense and BOTH are team players, no whinning from either of those players.  Great kids off the field as well. Both tremendous baseball pitchers and players.  These players are the best arms (accurate and smart football players) in the bunch and are team players. Jones is definetly at the right level. The future looks bright in Nederland... No controversy in Nederland, maybe you, football04, should head to reservation ...... for that .......8) 8) 8)
 4.
NO offense to Mr. seay who is a great player, but he is not the same type of athlete to do all the things trevin sonnier did.Mr. Krautz or if Mr. Richard comes back are the next trevin sonnier/michael shaw/ryan butler/sean yoder type athletes, that can score from any where on the field.
All of those are great athletes.  We know in Nederland what we have in the next few years 8) 8) 8) Broussard (soph) is one of best athletes we have seen in a long time.  Player can do anything, play making receiver, kicker, punter, corner, and oh did I mention fast and strong. This kid is a highlight reel.  8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
 5. Great kid....Best part about Petee is that we get him next season again. Oh, the places he will go!!!!!! Go Dogs!
 6.
Bulldog fans got it all figured out!
Not half as well as the Nederland Bulldogs Football Team....I guess, instead of telling PNG, Nederland will show you this at Mid County Madness 8) 8) 8) 8) But first, we'll help with LCM to save the reputation of Mid County. That's mentioning both PNG and LCM..... in this thread ::) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
 7. I think, too, the players sometimes just like another sport better than football And FOOTBALL is a game that if you don't want to play it, DON'T, because you probably will get hurt because 1/2 way doing anything in football spells disaster and probable injury. Remember these kids don't get a multi-million dollar contract to play hs football....only usually harrassment by irrational fans who think they should perform like the professionals that they are watching on Monday Night Football (like tonight) and every once in a while they get a "great game"  by someone, and help us all, THIS BOARD is no friend to these kids, I really would hate to be a kid reading any of this stuff sometimes. These are kids, they are real people, facing real issues/injuries/problems.  Anyways, still the future is bright in Nederland like I have been saying.  8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
Hate to hear when we lose football talent to specialize, likely in a sport they will be another prop in.
8. #92 is a great player. Our team has class and you can't buy that or teach it.  I guess that Rob is a sore loser, when Vidor gets it handed to them (at home)  when this is one of their brightest years.  Too bad that lack of sportsmanship from someone in Vidor.... My kids were in truck leaving Ned/Vidor game, windows down and someone from Vidor pulled up and shouted at them, "Your daddy bought you that new truck?" Ummm....guess they raise them smart in Vidor, too.  Really, my kids should have answered, "No, I am in high school and pay a car note and have a full time job, too." ;D ;D
 9.
I could care less about my ranking in nederville.
2cents....rob was concerned on his ranking in nederland or lack thereof.... I just made point that Vidor coach was smart enough to do that.  Really great saying. No disrespect.  Coach M does a great job in Vidor. my apologies  :D back on topic, now
 10. ;D **Mod edit - no profanity and stay on topic!! *****
 11.
I could care less about my ranking in nederville. "We pray togethor when we win, we pray togethor when we lose. Now grab a winner and let's pray!" Jeff Mathews---DCTF 4A Coach of the Year!
rob...i just read your signature, so you have to grab someone from Nederland to pray?  It does say grab a winner to pray 8)
 12.
Good Question...so is Seay really a back up QB?  Now i'm confused?
The question was, "is badndn helping Faircloth with playbook? I guess we might draw a map and give you directions to the Reservation next, for MCM? I am sure that yall might get lost, or just no-show (but who could blame you this year) ;D
 13. LCM has a nice balance with passing and running game.  I think they will be a tough group to play this week.  LCM has always had talented athletes, nice to see them put them together for football. QB for LCM is smart and good athlete. However, I look for Nederland to dominate the line of scrimmage,  Dogs by 3 touchdowns. Go Dogs!

I think his name is Seay? Could be wrong.
How could a JV quarterback play on Varsity? Oh, wait you're from PNG.  Got it. ;D
You know what I meant!  ;D
Wait, you are not helping Faircloth with the playbook are you? ;D I could see where the confusion could come in. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) Go Dogs!
 15.

From all games, info, I have it may be a few more lean years for PNG unless transfers come in.
I don't know what information you have, but I have followed our sub-varsity teams closely this year and have now personally seen our freshman purple team play. Make no mistake about it, they are very good. However this season turns out, PN-G has bright years ahead.
Down to your sophomore group, it's lean, even the ones that have moved up.  No disrespect.  Where's your player makers on offense, speed and size on defensive.  Maybe I missed them on the sidelines, sorry. Dont know much about your freshmen. (I am sure they'll have their chance on varsity next season)
 16.
From what I understand, Nederlands JV QB is on Varsity playing Safety. I think his name is Seay? Could be wrong.
How could a JV quarterback play on Varsity? Oh, wait you're from PNG.  Got it. ;D
 17.
FYI....LCM announced at the end of our game, that the other half of MCM was coming next week...I trust the Bulldogs to save some face for us. Ned 35 LCM 6
Question is, who will help PNG "save face" in MCM.....just days away....it's gonna be great! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) Go Dogs!
 18. well said outanup.... Nederland is just that good that someone is trying to start something totally bogus. Won't happen in Nederland.  "We are the Nederland Bulldogs."
 19. who are you, goof ball.....dogggs??? You know nothing and not that family, either, and can't make a complete sentence and I, for fact, know what you are saying is hog-wash. Better stop trying to "bad mouth" that kid/family or you'll have more than you know to deal with.
 20.
Everyone knew this would be a down year for PNG. The talent just isn't their!! PNG has a great core of talent beginning next year and the following 4 years. Just need to continue to support the kids the rest of the year, there is still time to be a sleeper in this district.
Do you have an effective running game at your subvarsity levels?  Are there key defensive kids moving up to varsity next year? From all games, info, I have it may be a few more lean years for PNG unless transfers come in.
 21. Agreed husker,  it's just some bogus poster trying to  unsuccessfully to stir the pot in NEDERLAND.  (because there pot is empty). Not one of players mentioned care about getting the nod over the other.  They are ALL team players and didn't transfer in just to play a particular position and have been playing together since the early days of STJFL.  They want to play football (period).  They want to win, it doesn't matter how well they do individually.  It just matters that they win as Bulldogs. I look for a solid team again next year.  These kids love Neumann and would walk through fire if it meant that they could produce another district title for him and our community. Very impressed with the program and the kids are the closest and almost like a brotherhood.  It's really cool to see such unselfishness.  Like I said, they are ALL team players. Neumann has the luxury of having too many kids in one position, I guess Faircloth would love to have that problem. ;D Go Dogs!
 22.
No doubt on Sampere...that kid looked so good in that first game against Brenham and I feel confident that he would have had a huge year...REALLY hate seeing any kid get hurt like that, especially in their senior year
Sampere was an outstanding athlete for Nederland....one of the saddest days when he got hurt.
 23.

The team in all is very good. I would like to now way the sophomore didn't get to battle the senior for the start qb job. We her in the spring he had a big arm and could move will in the pocket but was moved to the defense side?
Seriously?  Why would Neumann take a 2 yr starter at qb and replace him with a sophmore?
he/she probably a PNG poster. they're getting used to QB controversy over there.  ;) ;D
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
 24. I don't know if I could pick one favorite player.....Shaw and Washington would be at top of list, followed by Raines, Hopkins, Couron, Wood, Stampley, Taylor, Kimbler, Pryor, Malveaux, Barrow, Brown .  Heck, cant pick one. As for all time, Sullivan tops the list.  We were just talking about his hit in the Dayton game when he hit that player on the Dayton side, out of bounds.  I will never forget that hit, it was a shot and made everyone on the Dayton go crazy.  Kid had heart that can't be measured.
 25. hopefully, this is not the beginning on Vidor/Nederland 2013 predictions thread ;D
