] Does this make you feel better? Simulated game Ned vs Vidor. Ned Vidor Ozen PNG/Livingston Does anyone have a count down???? How many days to we kick off?
I love that website lol. But one problem. That doesn't have this year team so you can't get a real simulation of this year lol. BTW may i add that the game is at Boneyard this year. 8)
For now, we can only live in the past....how many more days do we have to wait???? I can't wait til we get to travel to the boneyard...it will be a good one, for sure. Let me say this, that will be a good measure for each program. 20 4 a is set for a classic season. I do predict Ned on top; however, I know that injuries and obstacles can detour any team and 20 4A is NO cake walk. No one should ever be underestimated in 20 4A FOOTBALL except LCM (FootBall ONLY, baseball is a different story and WHY in the heck can't they put those talented ball players on their football team - that is another million dollar question everyone always wants to know about LCM....!!!!) ;)

Agreed. You always go with experience at QB, especially. Barring injury, of course. The game picks up speed every next LEVEL. The jump from JV to V is unbelievable. Of course, the jump from fresh to V is difficult for QB position. It can be done with growing pains, at the best case scenario. How tall is Walker? didn't notice his size during baseball..
no doubt ;) Back on topic, for anyone who was actually at last Friday's practice, how did the Dogs look? I believe the focus was on the offensive side of the ball so I am curious to get people's opinions on how they did.
Ned looks good on O. They bring a fresh up to RB and he's fast, good cuts, and great vision. QB strong(saw back up once), squad of receivers strong, fast. Kimbler a must have on the field.

Lumberton Raider offense
becasue those other kids get bigger, faster, and stronger!!! you gotta work hard to stay competitive maybe those youth kids don't work hard to get better as they get older, maybe they just get satisfied and think ole we beat them in youth so we should beat them when we become a varsity player, thats not how it works!! you just can't work hard when its football season and during off-season, you gotta work hard year around!!but hey its always the coaches fault, these kids need to be accountable for something!!! but lets face it lumberton doesn't have a beard, hanna, hussey, and those oline guys when they were successful but those guys worked hard in the weight room and look what kind of success lumberton had!!! hard during the summer to get better and look what kind of success lumberton had!!!
This has been the question for years in Ned, we ask how can Lumberton be so good in junior league fb and reach hs against us and not as competitive as they were.???? Ned usually has 3 teams that is spread across the league usually Lumberton 2. We always had tough game against them. I know once jr high gets here. There is only 1 jr high in lumberton whereas Ned has 2 to pull talent from. I see the difference by then. What is it? Many people have asked??? Is it the conditioning and the competiveness of our 2 schools coming together in hs and fighting for positions vs all of your players coming from the same jr high school to hs. This has always been puzzling. Lumberton has the talent. -
Just to clarify things, all 20-4A sucks. 19-4A sweep this year girls....... Yeah, yeah, but one day i'll be right. This is the first year! ;D
Go to the message board for the Greater Houston Area (where you belong)....ummmm, guess there's not one that cares about bh or will respond.
Look at the consistency of play-off runs by 20-4A teams for the past 20 years. Respect is earned by that record. It is so tiring to read the same type of responses on here year after year. Show respect towards teams that have earned and displayed true player and coaching talent over SEVERAL years, respect will come for the teams that are still trying to prove they can make it to the playoffs two, three or even five years in a row. Several teams such as Nederland, PNG and Central have traveled a long hard road to get where we are in our program and we sure didn't achieve it in a season or two with only one or two classes with talented players. I know I am ready to see Nederland move deeper into playoffs than just 3 rounds. (We have been 3 rounds several years in the past) I truly believe that we are moving in the right direction this year, especially with our accomplishments from last year make for a lot to build from. I also noticed that in the past 10 years or so of playoff runs, I have seen Central, LCM, Ozen and PNG fans(more than any other school) come out and suport us. That is true respect shown. A bunch of Nederland fans went and supported Vidor in Bi-District round when they played Dayton (I think 3 years ago). That is more than I can say for the good supporting folks of Vidor, which I have NEVER seen at one of our playoff games (Curious to know if they do that to anyone else). Lumberton falls short on supporting the area teams as well, so your not alone Vidor. I will continue to support all of our 20-4A teams inspite what other fan bases say or do. Good luck to all and pray for all the players to have a injury free season. As far as predicting the outcome of 20-4A, have fun with it, but we all know when it comes down to it, NOBODY knows what will actually happen. Of course I am pulling for my DOGS, I honestly believe they have a shot at having the best season this year than they have had in the entire Neuman era at Nederland.
IMO, the next 3 years have the chance for memorable Dogs seasons. The frosh moving up to sophomore next year. Neumann has called them "something extraordinary" Individual names are not noted but the way the play as a team, their determination, their heart. Some of those are moving up to V (which is nice for filling in for the V missing pieces), and our JV will still be tough. Lots of barking going on for next several years in Ned. 20 4 A lots to be excited about next year! We haven't even gotten to the Dog Days of Summer and we are already at a fever pitch.....

No one in Ned ever overlooks PNG All stats, all talent out the window. That MCM game is all about heart. I have watched games either one should have walked away with - go the other way. PNG is always a force to be reckoned with. They have a few weakness on their V next year. Fact. However, they will compensate as they always have done in the past. Great fans, great tradition. Ned has target on back next season. Rightfully so. Prediction -they will rise to the challenge, overcome obstacles and achieve greatness. These kids stick together and embrace a challenge. I know a great # of them and I see men in the making of character and champions. Lots to look forward to in Nederland next fall. I don't if anyone senses the 20 4 A season is one of those special years when everything will be a challenge and worth the fight. Every so often, 20 4 A has a lot to look forward and I sense the anticipation rising, not only in Nederland but across the District. ;D

dustoff. I never said it was a dream. I just said he can sleep well with all of the amazing football players that have been sent his way!!!! I do look forward to playing Vidor first. Let's take a challenge and bring the Doomsday D to test your offense. Will be a good matchup! Look forward and I am counting the days as well. Vidor will have a nice season but man, Neumann is counting his blessings and his unbelievable talent pool that is in Nederland this year!!!!! Go Dogs and Doomsday D!!!!
well you can't teach speed..
and speed isn't everything...
it's raining Football players in Ned...oh my, Neumann has done the right rain dance. This kid is good and what a group Neumann already has. Neumann is sleeping good at night. zzzz....."I have amazing starters returning and I have amazing back ups to amazing back ups."zzzz....."Defense is like no other, have amazing backups" zzzz..."The kids love to hit, I see passion every play..."zzzzz...."95 days to football, 94 days,93 days, 92 days.... I think something is funny :o and a little off :o with teams that wear the color purple....bh had to take blue because Dayton had already picked purple and Heaven forbid, that they both wear purple......... -

Nederland's main concern will be complacency due to overconfidence.
I don't think the teams in 20-4A will allow them to get too overconfident.
These kids are the hardest working group I have seen in a while and if everything and everyone stays healthy, It will be amazing what they can achieve. Underclassman are strong and push the Veteran Varsity players to a whole nother level. It will be interesting. Also, note the Seniors on down are all the beneficiaries of Junior League Football in Nederland(STJFL) started by Troy Jones a few years ago. To me, the league he built has turned a profit for the Dogs. When it started, everybody and their dog signed up to play. These kids have been taught, pushed and played long enough to be instinctively great on the football field. Thanks Troy Jones....the Dogs appreciate your vision!!!
I'm not taking anything away from your team, I believe they will be good, just as I believe that Vidor will also. But as I said they are playing in 20-4A and no one will just lie down and give them the title or allow them to just show up and they win. As I stated 20-4A will not allow anyone to be overconfident. Good luck to your team.
That is a very good point. We can sit here and talk all this trash and name all these people that we have coming back and underclassmen moving up and all that but we all should know that anything can happen on a Friday night. Injuries happen and people who weren't supposed to be good can change some minds. That's just a fact when it comes to Texas High School Football. 8)
I know you're right, and everyone who has been around or apart of sports, know it only take one injury to the right player on any team and it can change your whole season. And there's always that team that ends up surprising everyone. And in a district that has so much talent, it does'nt leave much room for error. 8)
If you notice, I do say everytime if all stay healthy. What is meant to be, will be. Dogs are set to have a tremendous season, and OF COURSE, 20 4A is tough. Dogs are very optimistic and have a HUGE target on their backs, as well they should. They are the team to beat and I WILL say this AGAIN, I WOULDN"T WANT TO SEE THIS DEFENSE coming after me!!!! It is keeping every offensive coordinator in 20 4A awake at night ;D GO DOGS!!!

Ozen and Png are always in the mix. Both have ability to make something happen every season. Two of my favorite teams to play....oh yeah, Vidor, too.(I don't want them to think I left them out). Do see bright future for Dogs...

WALK OFF STYLE!!!! PS... You don't need hits when garbage is on the mound..
Gee Gee.... Livingston is NOT in the Golden Triangle. It's in POLK county. Tonight I learned BH has no English classes and Baytown no geography classes. Thank God I live in Nederland where our kids are educated.
