No they're not.

Bastrop put 28 points up running the same type of offense and they don't have two 1,450 yard backs in the backfield.  Angleton will get in the 40s at the very least!

Interesting note to add to this game.  Georgetown's regular season opponent's combined record is 35-65.  Angleton's regular season opponent's combined record is 55-45.  3 of Georgetown's 10 regular season opponents ended with winning records.  6 of Angleton's 10 regular season opponents ended with winning records. 

The funny thing about this Angleton defense is that they play to their opponent, whether it be up or down.  If they play a team that isn't very good they will make the game interesting.  If they play a good team, they nut up and play hard and physical.  Which was the case against Nederland, Alief Taylor, Foster and Terry. 

That's what happened.  There were no agreeable neutral sites available.

[/quote] Congrats on being all of the above!  That just means you're old and rusty.  FYI...they don't let photographers in the lockeroom.  No adjustments were made during half time because it wasn't the scheme, it was execution.  The only thing done at half time was a little "heart to heart" with the defense.  But you knew that since you know everything else. We will!  The kids will love the opportunity to travel on charter buses.  These are low income kids who would never get the chance to travel this way.  They will eat it up!  And the Angleton faithful will be there with us.  No inconvenience for anyone.  Spot the the ball already!!!!

After watching the SC and GT game live and then on film, SC was never good enough to win state or even get out of the region.  This team couldn't have beat Dawson, Nederland, Friendswood or Angleton!  There are guys on offense and defense that are taking plays off all game long.  It's your basic team that plays well when it's easy and rolls over and dies when it gets hard.

The play calling didn't change at all and only 80 yards were given up in the 2nd half.  Plays and Personnel was exactly the same. 

The defense was exactly the same in the 2nd half as it was the 1st half.  The difference was the kids doing the job that was asked of them.
