  1. Sounds alot like BH so far. See ya on the 31st. Nice weather tomorrow. You and your boy ought to take a road trip to AC tomorrow.....DH vs. Northeast starting @ 1:00.
  2. Velocity...smelocity..." Hit a spot, get an out"......and I quote. That is what every coach loves to hear right there. In baseball alone you don't have to be throwing 90 to be a great pitcher you need to mix it up and keep hitters off balance. I threw mid 80's in high school way back when in 4a and it proved to be successful enough to let me play college ball. I could not agree more but it sure would be nice to bring one in every now and then at 92-93 No doubt..."JR"'s still searching for that 92 he hit at the Blinn tourney awhile back. ;D When do you guys play BH ?
  3. I agree. Obviously great strides have been made regarding Tommy John surgery, still it's not easy and pain-free. The kid has plenty of work ahead. I wish nothing but the best for him. 643...You're not going to believe it. I finally remembered to check out the memorial you were talking about @ AC. That's nice that AC did that...although kinda sad feeling at the same time. I even cleaned some leaves and dirt off that were on the bottom of it.
  4. Velocity...smelocity..." Hit a spot, get an out"......and I quote.
  5. Yes, he threw the first no-hitter of the season in this area. no-hitter and perfect game, I believe. Hate to hear about an injury, especially to a SR. Best of luck to this kid and hope he has full recovery. Tough break to say the least.
  6. I was told that Carmona pitched for BH followed by Cole Young. I would imagine Rocha is being saved for district.
  7. Hope you guys get all of your good play over w/ before visiting Angelina on April Fool's Day. ;D
  8. I know....I'm just "jacking" w/ ya. ;D You guys are off to a great start. AC seems to play a good game and a not so good game each doubleheader.
  9. Good stuff...congrats to Mr. Lott..Keep up the good work.
  10. Game # 2 AC falls 10-0...ouch I do not have any details yet.
  11. Roadrunners score 3 in the top of the 8th....up 6-3. Logan Moss on the mound for AC. Better hurry, I'm heading to Delta Downs for the horse races. Just in.....AC wins ! AC wins ! (18-10) (4-1) Game #2 to follow...Cory Benevidias ( Friendswood ) to throw for AC.
  12. Who is Panola ? ;D ;D Bossier Parish will drop after losing both games to Angelina yesterday. Angelina leading Navarro 6-3 in the bottom of the 8th ( extra inning ) as we 'speak'.
  13. Bottom of 7th still tied @ 3-3. Logan Moss ( Cy-Fair ) in to pitch for AC replacing Kendall Thamm ( Barbers Hill ) Thamm 6.0 IP, 4hits, 2BB's, 4K's, 3 runs, 2 earned runs. ( no decision )
  14. Top of 7 Tatum ( Lufkin ) to lead off for Angelina.
  15. Navarro scores 2 ( one earned and one unearned ) to tie it up @ 3-3 after 5 innings of play.
  16. Bottom of 5 AC 3-1. Kenny Allison ( Central ) walked, John Tatum ( Lufkin ) RBI single.
  17. Bottom of 2nd AC 2-0 Kenny Allison ( B. Central ) w/ a double and a stolen base. Chase Hernandez ( Deer Park ) RBI single.
  18. game #1 Kendall Thamm ( Barbers Hill ) w/ the start on the mound. Jake Rowell (LCM ) behind the plate. AC 1-0 after 1 inning. Mark Serna ( B. Westbrook ) reaches on an error, scoring Greg Garcia ( Pflugerville ).
  19. Sure would be nice to get back to back conference sweeps today. Game #1--Kendall Thamm ( Barbers Hill ) starting for AC. Game #2--Cory Benevidias ( Friendswood ) on the hill.
  20. AC up 3-1 in the top of the 5th. Urbina (Left from Hutto) throwing well for Angelina.
  21. It's all about location and hitting your spots. ;D As the AC head coach continuosly yells at "JR' ..."Hit a spot, get an out". ;D
