Congratulations, Jake. I've had a chance to meet and learn about Jake the short time that my son has been @ Angelina this year. This kid has a bright future. He has talent and is driven to succeed like few others. I wish him the best of luck.

SS/c- Tony Carmona, i remember playin this kid in little leauge and you could tell then that boy would play some college ball and this was at like age 15. I can still remember the impressive stats of him going 20-21 in the tourney with i believe 2 bombs and god knows how many RBI. For all the others i'm not sure... be a really good team if they truely have that many. It will not be near as strong as last year's squad but they will compete for the district title. All of the kids I've listed have had contact and/or being looked at by recruiters.....none of them were able to sign in last week's early signing period, however. What becomes of their futures we'll have to wait and see. Being a "prospect" doesn't garauntee(?) anything...especially with the recent college rule changes.

not sure i dont follow them. i just remember when we played dean a few years ago seen he got traded and thought it was interesting If you're Dean's age and have a season and a 1/3rd..1/4th to start your pro career like he had...then get traded in a trade that makes the headlines...it's all good. I..oops, my son played against P.J in district...Dean's the real deal.

Dean is the righthander from New Caney. He has a great 1 1/2 year start in the minors. Pitching very well.
