  1. Did you know that it wasn't until August 9, 1988 that a night game was played @ Wrigley Field in Chicago ? Cubs beat the Mets, 6-4.

  3. I actually think OU sucked the shingles off of my roof instead of the winds from hurricane Ike.
  4. What does Notre Dame have in common.....................they both Suck.
  5. I've heard that next year every team makes the playoffs.
  6. Now we're talking. Honestly, if HORNDAWG (a non-closet Aggie) can post actual proof w/ high-quality, glossy-text, suckage in action.....no more questions, we dismiss, completely, with no doubt......it's painfully obvious that OU SUX ! P.S. Beat those BayOlor BeUars......and take care of the faOrmeUrs ! HOOK 'EM HORNS !

  8. Hey, my pleasure. Have to give credit where credit is due. 8) 8) 8)
  9. Peavy wants to come to Houston.....he's been clear about that. Roy O and Peavy have been good friends for awhile now. Pay the man, Drayton.
  10. HORNDAWG.... you are alright. That's a classic. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Does a nice brown smog on the horizon constitute a beautiful day in Houston? LOL...Luckily... I'm up higher than the smog.
  12. I just looked at the thread titled...LCM football program. It's understandable why you are on this thread ragging BH. ??? ???
  13. Scrimmage set for Tuesday (10/21/08) @ 1:00....in Lufkin. I'll be stuck at work, so if any of you locals ( you know who you are ) are going to be there....please let me know what's going on. ;D Go AC Roadrunners !
  14. I agree...I like em both. On one side (Rays) you got to love their youth and energy....a remarkable story. I'm a huge fan of pitching....you got Kazmir, the home-grown, Howell from the Horns, Garza who dominated in game 7, and David Price. Price is going to be an absolute beast.....for a long time. The other side (Phillies) it's hard for me to root against Cole Hamels. And then there's Lidge. What can you say about Lidge ? Truly a class act thru good and bad times. I wouldn't mind seeing Lidge get a ring. With that said...I'll go with, in my opinion, the better and deeper pitching staff........Rays in 7. Should be a great series.
  15. It's 2:15 on a beautiful Monday afternoon in downtown Houston.....nothing has changed..... OU still sux ! HOOK 'EM HORNS !
  16. I think I'll tahe the Hill in this one. BH 35 Crosby 30
  17. Barbers Hill graduated all 4 of their starting pitchers from last year ( Thamm-Angelina, Hales-Texas A & M, Silva-San Jac, and Kelley-Galveston ). However, there are some solid arms that have been waiting. I'd look for seniors Jay Burditt ( RH-mid 80's, good curve, great athlete ) and Alex Rocha ( tall righthander 6'4", mid-upper 80's ) to lead the BH pitching staff this year. Also, senior Matt Peterson and junior Michael Bounds should see time on the bump.
  18. Cody Green ain't too bad either. ;D Broncos roll.
  19. Eagle do yall play anywhere near Orange? I want to come watch yall play. Having 6 out of 9 starters as college prospects is impressive. I'm guessing yall are expecting a district championship? Good luck this season. TD Check your personal messages.
  20. Tampa Bay could have a good team for many years.......if they stay together. Team is loaded with young talent, including the pitching staff.

  22. Yall just think that Dayton can smash on Barbers Hill i do not like Coach Price . but i think big Price will bring his a Game just like 2 years ago when Barbers Hill played Galena Park and they were key word WERE undefeated and barbers hill beat them . Also Dayton lost to friendswood and who has beaten friendswood Barbers Hill i believe BH has beaten friendswood almost every time they have played excuse me if i may be wrong on that but Barbers Hill i know for a fact is practice is gonna be hard for barbers hill and Green and A.J Dugat for one Cody Green is not all that great and A.J Dugat Can be shut down ive played with him and sure he does hit hard and lowers his shoulders but who cares People can take his hits and i know for a fact on both sides can darn near keep up with him if they can play P-NG and almost beat them yeah im not gonna bring up PN-G and Dayton last year who cares dayton was a much better team last year . and if i may say its gonna be either a dog fight till the end or what cause i know for a fact Stewarts pretty scared of BH's Big Dogs and stewart wants to play his big dogs the whole game yall will see for a fact that BH has pretty good guys not just Carmona there line is pretty big about the size and speed of dayton the only thing is yall dont realize who BH has for recievers so watch the game and see how this plays out . i still say Dayton -38 B.H - 42 Huh? I have no idea what I just read. I agree with you, Brett! I have never read so many run-on sentences in one post. I guess they have quit teaching grammar in BHISD. Dallas2Bowl, Please let everyone know that you aren't really from Barbers Hill. Please. ??? ??? ??? ???
