Nice update. Everything I hear is that this team has a ton of potential. Should be an exciting year. "Junior" told me last night that the chemistry of the whole team is outstanding....even among kids that are competing for the same spots. Fall/offseason begins, Saturday Sept. 13 @ Angelina vs. San Jac. I, for one, cannot wait. Bears....check your pms.

Well that is the morals, or lack thereof, of a majority of the black youth (and more and more whites as well) today. Don't work and save for anything...just steal it. Don't try to make good grades in school, just get out of school and steal or deal drugs. Go to a Marshall Middle School dance sometime and you'll see what I'm talking about with the lack of morals among the black youth (wearing pants that hang down to their knees, wearing shirts with marijuana on them, wearing belt buckles that say P-I-M-P, acting like they are humping one another on the dance floor, etc.). Also, what's even more pathetic, the leaders of the school condone it by not stopping it. Sorry, this is a sports forum...I'll get off of my soapbox. So you justed assumed that this young man is black. The article never said what color he is and does it matter. A crime is a crime. Why did you feel the need to make it a race thing? If you hit the link that Stevieray provided, there is a photo of him clear as day. Looks more ghetto than black to me.

Hey do you remember the racket that the Stephenville fans were making with their propane tanks and ball bearings? They didn't have near the crowd PNG had ,but that noise maker they made was the equalizer My son and I were at that game also. What a game and atmosphere. I remember the propane tanks and ball bearings well. I also remember Dustin Long and Kendall Briles putting on one heck of a show. I agree with your statement, " PNG ain't that good and BH ain't that bad". I'm expecting a pretty competitive game.

JaCovin Brown, played first 2 years at Kelly highschool (winning 2 state championships), last 2 years of HS at Memorial HS. he's a class of 2008 HS graduate, so he still has eleigibilty left. Can flat out HOOP, has attitude porblems from what i've seen, but GREAT basketball player. Has attitude and academic problems. I hope this kid turns it around. He can play some serious ball.

Channel 55, a local Houston station is showing a game every week I'm told. Tomorrow night is Pasadena Memorial vs. Clear Creek. Memorial has a great running back, Bo Snelson.
