Does anyone have the 21-5A all district team? From a Baytown Sun article: Co-Coach of the Year Paul Tadlock-Baytown Sterling & Eric Matthews- Atascocita District MVP Brett Marshall- BS Pitchers Hunter Cervenka-BS, Clay Schrader-Atascocita, Nathan Svoboda-Westbrook, Jonathan Dziedzic-Atascocita 1B Bronson Buell-Atasocita, Jonathan Freemyer-Kingwood 2B Landon Martinez-BS ss Thomas Doughtery-Atascocita 3B Grant Clyde- Atascocita c Geoff Perrott-KW Conn McWilliams-Atascocita OF Trevor Swint-BS, Michael Mahan-Baytown Lee, Jordan Rainey-KW, David Falgout-Westbrook, KJ Semien-Atascocita UT Jesse Luna-Baytown Lee This was all of the 1st Team for 21-5A...according to an article in the Baytown Sun. I never saw anything about 2nd team or honorable mention.

Does anyone have the 21-5A all district team? I saw it in the Baytown Sun a week or so ago....I'll try to find it for you.

My days of being a die hard pro basketball fan ended at the conclusion of game 6 in 2002 between LA and Sacremento. I had no doubt that the game was fixed and I still have no doubt. Obviously, the NBA has to deny what Donaghy is saying. I, for one, firmly believe him.

I thought Angelina really turned it around the second half of the season. Overall a pretty good season. Some solid players coming in next year. It's been kinda quite since the BH Eagle crash. Waiting on football and college fall ball. We need to get JJ to cater us some crawfush before it's too late. ;)

What's up Cubfan ? "JR" and I were at Angelina yesterday watching some of summer tournament games. Spoke with Coach for awhile.......it does look like a strong class coming in. Could be a couple of more surprises in store.. ;) We'll have to wait and see.

Dishon also made a great throw from left to home on the tagup from third. Very close play at the plate.

There are many reasons why some players go the JUCO route. Personally, I think JUCO is made for baseball.

There are a few college football players that have done exactly that. Chris Weinke-FSU and Quan Cosby-Texas come to mind...and Kevin Murray -Texas A& M. If I remember correctly, Weinke was 24 years old and playing QB for Florida State. He also had a million $$$ in the bank from investing his signing bonus in real estate, etc. A reporter once asked Weinke if it was a big adjustment playing with guys much younger and who had no money. Weinke responded that the only difference was..."after practice my teamates drink beer and I have steak w/ some wine. " ;D ;D ;D

Should be a good one.....Calallen's top two pitchers are about equal.

That's right...Rip Matthews. Man, I haven't talked to Reid in a few years. Last I heard he was in Boerne.... has a couple of boys I believe. I know his parents are in Galveston. I should look up Reid..for us. He and I were best friends from 1st grade up until we went off to college. Thanks for jogging my memory....I do remember now that it was Westlake that beat you guys.

I played against Mike Perkins (LCM 1982) in the playoffs. He was flat out bringing it. Our (Channelview) #9 hitter had two bloop singles over 1b for our only 2 hits. I remember fouling a pitch off and feeling pretty pleased with myself. ;D We lost 6-0 and 2-1 the next night and my high school baseball career was over.
