That's not always true...especially in the early season tournaments where pitching depth comes into play. Who are you guys playing? The winner of Bay City/Dickinson. Most likely Bay City...not going to be easy. We've played them 4 times over last two years. We won all four but the scores were : 1-0, 1-0, 4-1, and 3-1. Good luck against LCM.

I agree. I do not always agree with his methods or the way he goes about it......but the man can coach. I do not think coaching will be a deciding factor in this series. I believe LCM's bats will prevail in 3 games. Best of luck to both teams. I'm a little confused on the home field advantage that LCM ended up with.

Santa Fe takes this one. They have a junior pitcher ( Eric Cantrell ) who has been lights out this year. They are also in a pretty tough district with Friendswood, Dickinson, Angleton, and Texas City.

Losing changes one's perspective....Let's " re-circle" the wagon and regroup. This may be a blessing in disguise.....the glass is still half full in BH. We're good....there I said it. Word from the locker room, players held a UFC championship match, let it all out..followed by a group hug meeting....The BH faithful ( myself included) need to realize, we didn't commit 10 errors and give the game away tonight. We got outplayed by a pretty solid team. My money (what lil' I have ) is still on the Eagles.... I think we will be fine....Lot's of talent in Region III, Class 4A. Maybe I should be a politician... : : :

This weekend will be the final Top 10. Let's get your Top 10 posted so I can get a feel from the board who is the best teams in the area. Could Ross Hales shut down every team on the list for Barbers Hill ? What about PNG's Eric Harrington, does anyone score enough to beat the Indians? Aaron Bender over at WB, could he shut down every one? We see that Matt Hicks over at BC can be beat. Trae Hester is a horse, with a solid defense they beat PNG. LCM, one day they look like the Yankees, next day the Rangers. Nederland and Ozen, how did they not get in? Hardin-Jeff and Jasper both could playing longer than anyone. Needs to worry about his own district first..... OUCH.....Personally, I think Hales could use a little rest. I think (hope), with the bye week, BH will be ok. ???

I believe GP is @ 18-7 on the season......11-3 in district...They have a solid club, scrappy at the plate and very strong defensively....especially in the outfield and behind the plate. Fortunatley, I wasn't there to see the carnage, so I'll leave it at that. Ross Hales goes the distance and suffers his 1st loss of the season. GP went up 4-0 in the 1st on a grand slam. BH reclaimed the lead @ 5-4 , late in the game ( 5th or 6th ) only to give it back in the 7th. Oh well, it is what it is......time to regroup and refocus....it's playoff time. BH finishes regular season @ 23-4, 13-1.

As of now, I believe 2nd and 3rd in 21-4A is not decided. Huffman and Galena Park are tied at 10-3 and split head to head. Galena Park hosts Barbers Hill @ 4:00 today...not sure who Huffman has....Crosby maybe ? Also, the standings I've seen show Richmond Foster in the 3rd spot behind Lamar Consolidated and Bay City...with Seven Lakes in 4th and the odd man out. Lots could change with tonight's games....22-4A included.

Listen Ruth there you go there again digging that sfuff up. LOL As I told you guys two weeks ago do not know if our district is as strong as 22 is this year. Yea we are hitting OK but from top to bottom you guys have a very solid district I think. Hope I am wrong but give credit where it is due and you guys have some very good baseball teams. ??? ??? ??? Like I said, it has nothing to do with Nederland. If it would have been LCM, Vidor or whoever in Nederland's shoes, I would have posted the same. My posts regarding the 22-4A playoff teams has nothing to do with the teams itself, but with the district tiebreaker rules. It is a big joke with me and some of my fellow admins and mods. We talked about it on our Monday night high school preview show. Obviously you didn't catch the show or you might would understand. It's okay. Again, the remark about the scoreboard was for Joey's sake. He had made the thread without knowing that Nederland was out of the playoffs. I was giving HIM a hard time, not the Dogs. Okay, I am through explaining myself. ;D And there you have it.....well said.
