Seems like there is rule about 1 game during school week with Friday after school and Saturday not included...something like that.. There is some kind rule like that...believe that UIL got it from NCAA.

Final---Barbers Hill 6 Galena Park 3 Good ball game..tied 3-3 in the sixth. Galena Park played a heck of a ball game. Tough loss for their starting pitcher, Frank ? Kid pitched a great game. Are you talking about this year's Westbrook team ? If so, I certainly do. Nothing against Westbrook but they do not have the team they had last year. Especially now that Wallace is out.

Scalp not trying to be negative, I think you have a good point but ,you will never have 1000 people at a HS baseball game in this area maybe 500. Reasons are 1. you don't have parents of Cheerleaders, Band members, Dance Team, Twirlers, in the stands like football. 2. you only have 15 at max on a Varsity baseball team while in football you usually have up to 30 (which means more moms, dads, granpa's, grandma's , and so on. 3. you have track, softball, golf, soccer, and Tennis also going on at the same time. football only has volleyball and the varsity girls play early so they can go to the football game Overall football brings your community closer together because it involves more Students from the community then any other sports. That is why it gets more money. But Scalp I Do think it would be awsome to see a Ned and PNG baseball game with the same amount of fans that are at the football games (with the band!) that would be awsome Now that I agree with. Football is still king in Texas....but you make some very valid points as far attendance figures go. Nice post.

LCM seems to be very modest about the number of homeruns that they have hit. You don't see any of their kids on here talking "smack" about all of their power which I think is very admirable.(especially since they are either at 26 or 27 for the year). They are definitely a group of classy young men. All I see on this thread is mostly a couple of parents having a little good-natured fun with each other..Good Lord, lighten up.
