  1. That is correct...7 innings. BH Thamm 1.17 Hales 1.44 Silva 1.80 ;D ;D ;D
  2. Just found out it wasn't Henk but the other catcher. Nevertheless, hope the kid is ok. Never like to see players get hurt.
  3. Nice job Falcons. I sure hope the Henk kid is ok. I've heard from several people that he is really a good kid.
  4. Come on EAGLE07 update your list..... :P...Just when I think we can catch BH, they hit more.... LOL.. Hunter Silva 6 Jake Ponder 4 Kendall Thamm 3 Ross Hales 3 Alex Rocha 3 Tony Carmona 2 Colton Bay 1 Cody Clifton 1 Total= 23 ;D ;D ;D ;D
  5. Congrats Indians!!! I heard that Ozen beat Vidor, I guess the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away! 3 way tie, I would say we are back at a level playing field.... Indeed HE does.
  6. Foyce, I have not seen Robi this year....but I sure keep hearing about him...I don't want to see him.....we're hiding from you guys. ;D
  7. Barbers Hill 14 C.E. King 1 WP- Hunter Silva, 4IP, 1 run Kendall Thamm, 2IP, 0 runs, 5K's, 0BB, 1 hit HR- BH Hunter Silva (6) BH Cody Clifton (1), 3-run shot. Clifton's 1st varsity home run. Score was BH 2 C.E. King 1 after 3 innings. BH 16-3, 6-0
  8. I agree completely..After last year's playoff between BH and Vidor, we ( BH parents/fans ) were very impressed with the way Vidor played the game...all out and with class....and very well-coached. We really enjoyed meeting and talking with alot of the Vidor fans as well. It was a great playoff series for the players and the fans. I'm even more impressed with this year's Vidor's team. Good luck to you guys......unless of course you are up aaginst BH.
  9. I assume you are not including BH when referring to this area in regards to last year's playoffs.
  10. Get your head out of the sand. You got two hits off of Hales in his worst performance in over two years. Every MLB team is looking at Ross, including the Braves....please. And yes he did step off....you've been listening to your coach too much. BH doesn't choke at the plate w/ bases loaded in two different innings...game's over in 6 @ 11-1. I think you'd be better off focusing on who you are playing in the playoffs not who BH is playing. Get over your BH phobia...it will make life easier for you. To post such garbage and let everyone know who you are upfront....speaks volumes...if you catch my drift. Probably not ?
  11. :P I thought you might get a kick out of that.....I've noticed you've always seem to support BH baseball in the past..thought we'd have alittle fun with it.
  12. And there are some parents that tell their kid from the beginning....."If this is what you want....no quitting/changing your mind in mid-season ( you hurt too many others ), if this is what you want....give it your all..leave 100% on the field, be your own critic....show me desire and talent, as your parent/best friend I'll do all I can to help you reach your goals.... don't like baseball anymore.....try golf, the piano, 4.0 doctorate degree plan, invent something that matters...many, many ways to succeed. In today's time, our kids have to have a passion for something positive...Boredom and a lack of direction kills. As parents of athletes, we often forget how fortunate we are....it certainly beats the alternatives. There....I feel better now. ;D
  13. There you have it. Thanks. Gives more meaning to the phrase..'you had to be there'.. I did here that it was a freight-train looking BOMB.
  14. Okay I admit you had a bad play in left but our third baseman had a ruff night to with 3 throwing errors. Errors are part of the game and good teams over come them. Both of these young men are good ball players and these plays were made early in the game. These teams played 4 innings of baseball after these errors with the score tied 3 to 3 so i dont think the error in left cost png the game. we got the hit at the end to win it "we got the hit at the end to win it". Sounds like you are selling yourself somewhat short.. ;D ;D In a earlier post somebody equated to "leaving like a freight train...I need some clarification on that...a freight train ?? Rocket, missle, bomb, etc. but a freight train ?
  15. Wow what a Homer Poll..... : 1. BH 2. Vidor 3. PNG 4. LCM 5. Jasper 6. Bridge City 7. Nederland 8. Huffman 9. Westbrook 10. Everybody else.
  16. I could care less about the out come of this game......but i do care that the call be made right...(for next time)........so, your telling me you would allow that run to score just because the runner had 'rounded third'...??....when a third out call was made (which stops all play)....then time was called (which stops play)............?? If the runner was rounding third ( I don't know, wasn't there ) yes he scores. Inadverdant(?) whistles may stop play in roundball..apples and oranges. If the correct call was made to begin with (from what I'm hearing) the runner, who was alledgedly rounding third, scores. Continuation. Ask 643, he gives a great refresher course. If an inadvertent whistle blows before someone shots a 3 pointer.........do you think they are going to say, OK will let the points count because he made it, even though I blew my whistle before the shot attempt was made?? When that third out call was made (and I'm still assuming it was the third out by the reaction of all fielders in purple) The inning was over, regardless of the appeal. This is along the same lines (but different because it was a force out) as a tagged third out in a rundown, at another base, as another runner advances to make it to the plate before the tag is made........tag made before=no run, tag made after=run scored....still goes back to stopedge of play by the third out call. another ex [ automatic single to right field right fielder guns someone out at third base for the third out, third base umpire is asked to appeal to another umpire to see if the tag was made, call is changed ..........you would not award the batter second base just because he touched first before the third out call was made...then changed to safe].......?? cold showers also help wake you up.....lol ok put the guy back on third. now man on first and third two outs. next batter high fly to left ball droped. runner on third and first score. batter ends up on third. next batter hits a single scores from third. game tied 3-3. now lets move on.
  17. Not a very pretty win for BH....but we will take it. Huffman has a very well coached and scrappy ball club. Ross Hales goes the distance...certainly wasn't one of Ross' better performances...but that is a testament to how much talent this kid has. BH loads the bases 2 different innings to only come away with one run each inning. Jake Ponder 2-run HR (4) Hunter Silva solo shot (5) Huffman SS , Jeff Schmidt, is a heck of a ball player.
  18. Great read....I'm bringing Apple Pie and giving away a Chevrolet...that story sums up alot. Batter up.
