Funny how that is what everyone thought last year, and we rattled off 8 or 9 wins in a row, including beating the "so called unbeatable png team." We just fell short in the one game playoff. It seems some png people have gotten real cocky after one win vs LCM. It's 'cause they got Harrington....you would be cocky too. ;D I'm just kidding. This district is just like last year....4 teams with talent battling to the end. I think it comes down to PNG and Vidor, a team that just keeps getting better. PNG in the playoffs and winning coin flips could make a long run.

BH-- Ponder fresh off of DL/IR...hits # 2 and # 3 Thamm hit his 2 1/2... 387 1/2 foot drive....unfortunately to the 390 sign in dead center. ;D

I'm not sure about state...they were perrenial district champs for awhile. The head coach at that time is now at Prairie View. He has done a very nice job there also.

Before we get blasted for running up the score...BH used #4 pitcher, BH quit stealing bases, BH quit running on past balls, everyone on the team played, and BH started bunting towards the end. Honestly, we really did not play very well.....kinda sloppy on defense. Geez 07 sounds like some of them old football scores. ??? Yeah..we need a kicker....missed an extra point.

Man, I hate to hear that. I hope/pray that Todd has a full recovery and wish him nothing but the best. Injuries are never good but even more tragic during year senior year. Work hard thru re-hab, Todd ! Get ready for Angelina !

Anyone got an update on Westbrook's catcher Todd Wallace ? He caught my son all summer. Good kid. Hate to see anybody suffer an injury...hope it's not too serious.

Tony Carmona of BH is pretty solid at SS or behind the plate.

Mr. Diamond The kid had a glove that had two separate thumb slots. It was more like a round mitt....kinda shaped like those infielder's training gloves. He just switched from hand to hand when needed. Not sure if he could actually field a ball...he never had to. I agree with you. great idea with this thread.
