Alex Rocha with 2nd HR of the year. BH 7 St. Thomas 6 Hunter Silva had a 1-hitter until tiring in the 7th. St. Thomas goes up 6-2 in top of the 7th. JR. Jared Baker throws to one batter to record final out. BH scores 5 in the bottom of the 7th. In a baseball oddity, Baker gets the win. St. Thomas coach intentionally walks last 2 batters to end the game.....basically just quit...."because of lack of pitchers'. Unbelievable ! BH moves to 6-2 on the season. Will play @10:00 tomorrow morning against Bellaire.

WOW, there's a lesson in this for Big Ned. What's the lesson? A bad night. It's one game and not the end of the world. It's preseason and the coach appears to be still finalizing his bullpen as well as one or two other positions(catcher and right field). That's why you give some guys a chance. It didn't work tonight. Except for Stanley, Pitts, and Vidrine, the bats struggled. It happens. Well said.
