You directions are correct. I just spoke with Texas City ISD and BH baseball team. Game is not at the high school. I think ETBU's directs are to the school because their softball team played there last night.

BH  has no school today ( teacher-in-service ). Team is meeting @ school @ 10:30 this morning. As soon as I hear something definite, I will update.

I have not heard back up plans yet. I would assume Friday night and Saturday doubleheader if necessary. May know more this evening when kid gets home from practice.

If my old mind remembers correctly it was Bridge City....winning two of three. Game 2 was a 10-0 victory with Hales on the mound.....oh yeah, he had 13 k's.

I can't vote on the poll...I'm from BH..would like to congratulate you guys on a great season. looking forward to what I think will be a very competitive playoff series. Everthing I've heard, read,or have seen about you guys as been nothing but positive. I'm told that ya'll play with class. Class is probably the main reason I love baseball. With that said, no offense, but I sure hope BH wins ! 

I think I'll let Gringo and BH89-2 speak for myself. We seem to be on the same page ! But I did just hear that BH does plan to pitch Hales every game in the post season. Knowing Hales, as I do, we should go very far !  ;D

Winner of BH and Vidor will play #1 from 24-4A..who am fairly certain is Lamar Consolidated. I believe they finished..Lamar Con., Rosenberg Terry, and Bay City. The UIL bracket is out...shows which districts play who based on how they finished....just doesn't have respective teams filled in yet.

Showtime ! Let's hope there isn't a game on Saturday....provided BH wins the first two games !  ;D

Hey ETBU...you know that was not  me. I send you a pm to talk about it. I know how those things work. Tough break for you guys. However, do not count Huffman out. They got another kid  ( besides Listi ) that can throw the rock quite well.

I'll nominate Coach Gilstabaum @ BH. Lost Chase Barrera, ss and pitcher for the season. Barrera would've been quite possibly the most valuable  player this year because of his versatility and leadership. Also, did a great job of working pitching ace Ross Hales into form after his offseason shoulder surgery. 22-5 entering the playoffs....not to bad of a job. Go Eagles.

That's why you are most likely to see Hales (8-3), Thamm (8-0), Kelley (3-0), and Silva (3-2).  ;D

Appreciate the support, Uncle ETBU.  ;D ;D My honest prediction, BH wins the series with all games being close. Vidor made the playoffs coming out of a very competitive district. They will show up ready to play.

BH 10-1  Ross Hales went 4 innings (got the W) and Johnathan Kelley, Derek Hulsey, and Tony Carmona finish it up.
