IN DISTRICT ALONE- 85K,  .060 ERA  and is batting in district .429 with 11 RBI and 1 HR.
Davenport has my vote for pitcher...nothing against Czerwonka, he's very good. Davenport has been lights out.
I take it that your moniker is not indicative of you.....BTW, that's a joke.
I'm so happy right now I'm whistling Zippy Dee Doo Daa out of my...
LOL....love your response. King(15K). .325 batting avg. with 2 HR. by the way. does anyone know what the K record is in 19-4A? Hunter Hearn (FR.) Crosby- 2nd/catcher .385 batting avg. GOOD THINGS TO COME WITH THIS KID Czerwonka - GCM. not really a lights out pitcher but can swing the bat. there is not many balls I have seen him miss and hits it on the screws! LSU-E will love this kid next couple of years
Ditto on the Davenport kid.  I managed to "snag" him up for the Houston Heat this summer. Not sure on strikeout record...I know Kendall Thamm and Ross Hales both had well over 100(120+, if I remember correctly) for the season in '07 at Barbers Hill.
Really??? well over a 100 in district alone?? they would have to strike out 15 a game (7 games is district each) just to reach 105.  Maybe for the year they had 100+. I could see that.
No, for the season. I want say 127 for Thamm and 134 for Hales. Both averaged double digit strikeouts per game for the season before playoffs began.
I believe it. BH's pitching staff that year was ridiculous. You have two players now pitching in D1 and another that went to San Jac. Perfect Game has Hales and silva both touching 90 and Thamm in the upper 80s. I am still amazed yall didn't go father in the playoffs that year.
Yes, it was pretty crazy. Thamm and Hales both lefties. Silva went to San Jac and is now at Sam Houston St. Kelley went to Galveston and is no longer playing ball. Burditt was a junior that year and didn't get a chance to throw much. He went to Galveston and is now at San Jac. Got beat that year in the Regional semis by  a very good montgomery team, 2-0 and 4-2. Montgomery had two pitchers that went on to play at the next level. One in D1 and the other drafted as a hitter.

Kendall Thamm (Barbers Hill-2008) 2 2/3 innings, 3 hits, 1 ER, 1 K, no decision. ULM takes game two, 9-0, behind 8 2/3 shoutout innings from lefty Randy Ziegler. ULM wins the rubber match, 10-1, to take the series. Kendall Thamm( Barbers Hill-2008) throws 5 2/3 innings of 1-hit, shutout baseball in relief to earn the victory. Season totals 40.00 IP, 37 hits, 13 R, 12 ER, 10 BB, 32 K, 2.70 ERA( 6th in Sun Belt ) ULM travels to Waco to take on the nationally ranked Bears on Tuesday and Wednesday. Warhawks host conference-leading Florida Atlantic on Friday-Saturday-Sunday.
Atta baby! Why on earth would y'all schedule 5 games in 6 days this late in the season?
Pats, You are asking the wrong guy...It could get ugly in Waco....More than likely, ULM will not throw top 4 pitchers. Big conference series this weekend. Hopefully, Baylor does the same.
Might get to see Stone from PNG. Seems to me like he was warming up in the pen when UH played them. Unless he's redshirted. Top 4 pitchers? Must be nice.
According to Baylor website, Stone is starting game 2 tomorrow night. We've got the two lefties (2.40, 2.70) that are throwing really well right now. Then 4 other guys who have been pretty consistent. ULM's problem is that we likely lead the nation in runners left in scoring position. I see where Kendall's Heat buddy, Austin Pruitt is throwing well for you guys.Glad to see it. Austin is a good kid.
I would argue that UH leads in the LOB category. That kind of year. Pruitt has been lights outs, but we cannot get him a "W". (see statement above) The ERA's of our top 4 tell the tale: Austin Pruitt....  2.17  Jordan Lewis.....  7.01  Jared Ray........  7.43  Aaron Garza......  4.61  (Tuesday night starter) Not going to win too many games like that. I think the Ned players aren't well conditioned.
LCM & Lumberton same type of team...suprised the score was that bad...They are both in great shape...LMAO
I'm glad you amuse yourself so easily.  Don't LO too much, I'd hate to see you disappear completely as I find your posts so entertaining. Actually, I thought you were a much more informed baseball fan than I give you credit for but apparently I was wrong. So, a little reminder. The only thing LCM and Lumberton have much in common as far a baseball goes is that the names of both schools start with the letter "L" and that their enrollment makes them two of the smaller, if not the smallest, schools in the district. Beyond that, LCM has been to the playoffs for 9 straight years and 15 of the last 16 years.  LCM has been district champs 8-10 times (others may have the more definitive count) to which Nederland has just recently caught up (and maybe have +1 on us) thanks to a three year run (congratulations to those players and the coaches).  I'm not sure that Lumberton has quite the same history but feel free to correct me with a witty and insightful comment.
Knowing 'Basebow' for a while now, I can guarantee u that he is a very humorous guy who enjoys a good time and a good laugh. He not a serious guy, so if U try to understand his humor, U will appreciate his comments  ;D He likes to poke fun, and he can take it when others joke with him. His son was a great FB and Baseball player for Nederland, so it would be safe to say he is knowledgable about baseball (both sports actually).  8)
Ditto this ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
