Don't have a problem admitting it. I still think anyone has to give them the edge in this game. If they cause a few turnovers it could be a very long night for GCM. If GCM plays a near perfect game, this one could be close. BH is just so disciplined and makes few mistakes so I do not see them having many turnovers. GCM will have athleticism on their side but BH has played some athletic teams this year and remain undefeated. GCM's defense has played better each week, including holding Crosby well under their average yds and points. If they can be disciplined enough to stuff the run and not get burned in the secondary, they can win. BIG IF! This week we have to deal with a power game and not two shifty and speedy twins. Don't know which is worse but we will find out. GCM might need a punt or KO return to win. We have shown we have big play ability on special teams.
Let the hate go Cbear ;D BH Special teams is also playing lights out this year! That has been another huge improvement and a big reason for the teams success this year. GCM has the tools to make this go to the wire, BH also has the tools needed to open this game up! Not sure what to expect in this game, but I think the Eagles will come out pumped up and ready to play after playing some of the weaker teams in our district! I know the the fans of BH are ready for a real game! It's going to be nice to see some fans sitting across the field from us makeing some noise! I counted 26 GP fans at the last game (No kidding) and all the BHfans had pretty much nothing to do ,but talk to each other 8)
No hate.. Too many friends living there who whine way too much about sports, refs and coaches in HS, JH and youth sports. I have even had a few tell me what kind of families they do not want living there. You guys have a great program and fan support but I just cannot stomach it on a consistent basis. I am sure we have the same but am talking about co-workers and friends I know. Anyway, I still give credit where it is due and you guys have every reason to be excited about this year and even years to come. I would like to see an upset by GCM by it would have to be a just about flawless game by them.
You need to change jobs......and friends.  ;D
48-yarder.....did you really think he was going to make it.  ;) ;) ;)
Umm yes? I know you read the threads on here... Have you missed the talk about Dayton's kicker? He has made TWO 52  :o yes 52 yard FG this year... not to mention countless other long shots... For some reason he was having a bad night against BH...
Me....I can't read.  ;D Now that you mention it, yes I do recall hearing about that. Is he a senior ? Has he signed with anyone ? With two 52-yarders, I would hope so. I'm more of a basball guy.  ;)
 4.
Well, based on the kickers track record, yes. I know it's hindsight, but it was more than just the Nederland missed FG that has BH where  they are today. Solid  defense has covered up for some sloppy offense.  Refer again to the Dayton game. Offense wins games. Defense wins championships. (Add in some luck too.) All roads in 19-4a lead through BH. Time to  put up a Patriot road block.
just messin with you guys....I don't even know who the kicker is. I'm going to try to make it out to the game on Friday...will give you a shout. Should be football weather. BH by ten.
I am very glad that Preston is having a great year. Good luck from your BH buds Preston. Got any numbers on Townley tonight ? I agree....great kid, great family. Very pleased he's doing well. Huffman Coldspring should be a good one. Go Falcons ! (Never thought I'd say that )  ;D ;D
 8. Eagles roll....35-7 The Hill is for real !  ;D ;D
 9.
appreciate eagle.. I was just wonderin and that guy got a lil defensive.. i say Huffman by ATLEAST 2 scores
No problem....seemed like a harsh response for an innocent sounding question..just my opinion.
 10.
Still nothing from BH huh  ??? I'll see if I can find out
\ I've tried...so far, without success.
 11.

Wasnt Huffman 4a in 07.  When did Huffman drop from 4a. Huffman should never be a doormat in 3a with the numbers they have. They have 4a enrollment.. I wonder how reallignments will affect them.  But congrats to the coaching staff for getting the kids to play and build a successful program
How does Huffman have 4A numbers? Liberty and Cleveland were formerly in 4A also. By your logic they should be 4A. Huffman is not the largest school in the district and they have 3A numbers and will be 3A for the next several years. Get a grip and quit making excuses.
Why don't you read the rest of the guy's posts before you start slamming him...just sayin. Huffman ( led by the Barbers Hill kid ) takes this one...35-24
 12.
Good ball game last night.  Just wish the RANGERS were the ones that came out on top.  On to game two.
Agreed...hopefully weather improves.

I enjoy (When I have time) making picks and letting everyone else look good.
I agree. Great job, guys ! Banner week for Eagle07, 72%.. :o :o

 15.
PAM and CV game was a great one but PAM should have ran away with it.. Hurts is no world better i think PAM didnt know how to play a true cover. 2, Hurts really didnt do anything special IMO, just droped back and threw straight go routes pass the dbs. IMO they have no concept of a passing game because PAM was just letting them go by them but the WR's for CV go up and get the ball.. Any QB can put up numbers by throwing straight go routes and the WRs jumping and getting it.. If WB dbs can stay over the top in there cover 2 they take CV passing game out.. Technically you are not suppose to complete deep go routes in cover 2.. I was at the game Hurts is a tough kid, but really didnt show me anything besides a deep ball..
Wow.  ::)

 17.
Is this the "Best D1 LB"? Nope. So I'll stick with my pick. If you want to see how good Reuter is, buckle it up. D1 or not, the kid will lay you out!
Reuter will play D1, if his grades are good enough.
 18.
Ryan Reuter, a four yr. starter for BH. They had him on the 7th grade b-team for one game then decided to let him skip middle school and go straight to varsity. ;D
Plays the game the way his dad did back in the day at CV. Sexton from BH is a good one, as well.
 19. At CV, years ago, after getting our tails handed to us again......Coach would tell us " It's not the end of the world. H$LL, there's billions of Chinese that don't even know we played tonight ".  Unfortunately, we heard this way too often.
