Congrats to Brennan. I met/talked with this young man at a high school baseball playoff game. Very very respectful, well mannered kid. Enjoyed our game long conversation and left very impressed with him. If his parents read this site........way to go, job well done ! Best of luck at Oregon.

From what I've been told , it's not as serious as it sounds. Stress fractures of the back are common in pitchers....caused by repetitive (?) movements. My son had one in soph year of high school and was out 4 weeks...hasn't had a problem since, now a senior in college. Obviously, some are worse than others. Clay is a great guy......hope he has a full and quick recovery.
