Now i just need Humble to beat the living snot out of Channelview, but its raining...and we are playing there...and we are a 70-30 pass to run team....Im expecting a 14-0, 21-7 victory For Humble if this rain continues.
Channelview ( my alma mater ) is freakin' horrible.  Wildcats by 30.

That's right, I said it.  :D
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D THANK YOU  ;)
Who really cares what you think!!!  Can Blue Bell make you guys your on website?
why do yall always bring something up about blue bell that must be yalls only comeback thats all yall did last year about how yall were gonna make are ice cream melt on yalls message board then we showed yall up and yall shut yalls mouth cause yall figured out how bad yall are. ??? :D ;)
Oh so your saying that yall are better than us cause you just said most of the players did their worst agianst us so if they would had played decent yall would had beat us and if yalls players did great yall would had blowed us out  ??? ??? :D ;)
I'm not saying we would have "blowed you out," but we gave you a pretty big run for your money two days after losing a student athlete. In my opinion, you don't have much to brag about aside six points.
ok im not bragging? i commented on a different person post and you just come in our convo talking blue bell mess thats all yall do it talk mess i didnt start nothing i posted my prediction and since im from brenham i get ppl talking mess about blue bell.. am i right??? ??? ??? :(
First of all, I didn't say a word about Blue Bell. Even if I had, it would be because I like the stuff, not because it's made in Brenham. Second, people make fun of PN-G for being covered in refineries. Making fun of other communities based on their unique qualities is just part of high school football. Third, my only point was that we weren't really all that "bad," as you put it. Brenham only outscored PN-G for the first half, and barely hung on to win. The Cubs may have gone home the losers had it not been for an interception in the last two or three minutes of the game.
kid im not even talk to you this is a what im talking about yall just jump in a win is a win period
This is a messageboard. The point is to "jump in" and comment. If you weren't talking to me, why'd you quote me?
Looks like we have a winner.  ;)

 14.
Thanks for all of your kind words and well wishes. Price is excited about his opportunity to help the U of H program re-establish itself. The entire Jacobs' clan would like to thank the Ferguson Sports Foundation for all that they have done and continue to do for Price and all the Sun Devil players. Mr. Ferguson provides the stage, what you do while on it is up to you. We would also like to thank Coach Whitting and Coach Couch. Yes, I am a VERY proud father. However, there is still some business left to be handled at GCM. Fear the Goose! "I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me" Philippians 4:13
and you certainly should be. Congrats again !
Houston made a great hire in coach Todd Whitting.  He gained a reputation as one of the top recruiters in the country while at U of H and more recently TCU.  Expect great things from the Cougs over the next few years.  Congrats Price and good luck at U of H. [Hidden Content]
You are  correct about Whitten. Excellent baseball guy. Cougs have also hired Arizona DBack area scout, Trip Couch as an asst. coach. Great situation Price will be entering. Congratulations to Price and to his very proud father. Best of luck !
 16. I played against Hebert in the playoffs back in '81. Longest, most painful butt kicking I've ever taken in my life. They must've had 100 players on the sidelines and just kept rotating them in. We (Channelview) had an all-state stud RB ( Glen Langford-UT ) who they shut down. Down 7-3 at the half, we were already out of gas. Lost 29-3, if I remember correctly.....been awhile. ;D Playing SS, I squared up on Hebert's QB ( I think it was Davis, who went on to UH ) while he danced in the endzone, I pulled grass out of my helmet.  ::) ::)

I watched him play against Schulenburg in the Astrodome back in the late 80's or early 90's.
3700 YDS rushing in 1990....8400+ for his career.....truly one of the greatest.
 18.
Congrats!!! Hope he is having a great experience up there, (some long bus rides) but he probably is enjoying every minute. I know you will be glad to see him before he heads back to school. What school ?      Starting to see draft lists appearing for 2011, looks like college will dominate at least the top few picks with Purke , Rendon, hosting the one and two spot, ulike the Harper, Taillon of this year.      Texas is well represented on both sides college and prep. Prep names that seem common on projected lists are:      Matt Dean 3b      Trevor Story of      Daniel Mengden p/c      Brian Brickhouse p      Chris McFarland inf/of      Wayne Taylor c      Drake Roberts mif       Ricardo Juaquez p      C J McElroy of             This list is not in any particular order, and will add more names as they continue to surface. I think overall the 2011 pitching could be a more prominent than this years. Fun to watch this years during their final few days of negotiation. The clubs have been holding the line this tear, economy and fear of the slot system dropping from round 5 to round 15 puts ownership in a keen postion.
Thanks....and you are right about long bus rides. He had a great experience and got to throw 49 innings against some very good competition. A whole new group of friends made and an incredible host family. I cannot say enough about how great these families are that host college players every summer all over the country. He's going to Univ. of Louisiana-Monroe....great 2nd year pitching coach in Lanz Wheeler.
 19.
Don't know about blogs, all the details I have been following are on AREA CODE BASEBALL site or ESPN RISE and phone calls to scouts in attendance.       The White Sox just won the event, beating the last place Texas Rangers 9-1. As far as Roberts got some great reports early on him, as well as quite a few on their roster. As you know, pitching dominates there, but there were some notable hitting perfomances.        Roberts played 2nd base and could possibly end up there with his size. All the details stat wise are on that site, should answer at least most questions. Unfortunately, broken bat hits, balls squared up but ended being outs, pitchers who threw corners and and secondary stiuff, and great defensive composition, things scouts look at , won't be in there.       Any more high school summer ball still going on in Houston? Most of the summer ball is winding down. Karl Young Collegiate league has finished. The older Heat teams are done. Sun Devils summer has ended. Mine is on a plane this morning, headed for home after 2 1/2 months in the Northwoods league....which has 8-10 games left and then league playoffs.  School is just around the corner.
