They said that since Texas is used to playing cup cake teams and in a cup cake conference that they would rather play cup cake teams in the regional. Congrats on your cup cake walk to the super regionals. ;D
Scalp'em...might want to cut back on the Kool Aid. ;D ;D
Hahaha, in seriousness the Longhorns do have a pretty easy way to Super Regionals. Hopefully the Tigers continue to peak.
Got to get by a hot Rice Owl team.

Soph. year (1980) We ( Channelview ) beat #1 ranked Huntsville on a Stuart Avant 43-yd field goal as time expired. Kick hit the crossbar and fell thru. Huntsville had Lloyd Archie @ RB...The best RB I ever played high school ball against including Thurman Thomas. Archie was unbelievable. Unfortunatley he was lazy and had no ambition. Got into some type of trouble and never did much after high school. Huntsville's QB was Terry Houge...All-American DB @ Georgia and 14-year NFL veteran, mostly w/ New Orleans. Those were the days. ;D

You should have heard the classy PNG fans tonite, take back most of what I have been saying.First base coach is a real class act talking trash to pitchers when he is up 17-0, we will remember that for a long time. And the folks in the top row of the bleachers on the PNG side, real class act as well. Hope we can come back and play better tomorrow, but if PNG acts like this again - Go Brenham and I will be sitting behind the folks who ragged on us, I will remember ya!!
Keeper99, even more shocking than Basebow pulling for PNG - I am going to side with him! Send the Devil a winter coat. I just bought my first purple shirt and some Benadryl (I'm deathly allergic to purple), so I'll be ready for the weekend. (Don't worry 8isgreat, I plan to wear a thick undershirt to keep it away from my skin). GO Innnnnn......aauuugh, I can't get it out...so i'll just say - BEAT FRIENDSWOOD! I guess mediocrity is a little more cost effective. Just a question, if Gage pulls a Crosby and gets a win over Dayton once a decade, does he still have a job?
Don't envy money, brother. ;)
Four college alumni were climbing a mountain one day: an Oklahoma, a Texas grad, a Florida grad, and a Notre Dame grad. Each proclaimed to be the most loyal of all fans at their alma mater. As they climbed higher, they argued as to which one of them was the most loyal of all. They argued all the way up the mountain, and when they reached the top, the Notre Dame grad hurled himself off the mountain, shouting "This is for the Fighting Irish!" as he fell to his doom. Not wanting to be out done, the Florida grad threw himself off the mountain proclaiming, "This is for the Gators!" Seeing this, the Texas grad walked over and shouted "This is for the Longhorns!" and pushed the Sooners fan off the side of the mountain.
Cha ching. ;D

If you are enjoying a hot dog during the Eagles first district game (probably topped off with Grey Poupon) I hope you have a large amount of Pepcid AC, because I sense a serious dose of heart burn as reality once again hits the Hill. Need I remind you of Barbers Hill record against Dayton since moving up to 4A.... As for Crosby, when they play Dayton it will be a war.... Only time will tell who the winner of that game will be, if Dayton gets through their pre-district schedule healthy, it won't be good news for any team in 19-4A.
That hot dog, heart burn or not, is going to taste great knowing someone from Dayton had to buy it. ;) ;) I swear, you Dayton folks are reminding me more and more of West Orange Stark. All they got to talk about is historical issues. What is most impressive is how everytime another team beats them they praise the other team as if they have accomplished something great and are a very tough team, al of a sudden. Until after Crosby spanked you, they sucked by most Dayton fans account. Same way WOS bashed Kirbyville for so many years, until Kirbyville beat them. BH should have spanked you, had it not been for very poor coaching. When are you going to learn I am never wrong? Bet your bank account or gamble your pig: Crosby BH Dayton GCM/Lee By the way, Barbers Hill has a new auction site where they sell outdated or surplus items. Pass it along to your football team they can pick up a laptop for about $60 or so. Hate for someone to get in trouble over laptops again. ;D ;D Got to love a little pre-season smack!
You're right, you should've spanked us and our first-game-to-ever-start-quarterback. ::) But instead you got a taste of things to come (this year) in that third quarter and hate when PURPLE 4EVER brings it up. Coaching is part of the game just like officiating is, which coincidentally made a very close call taking a TD away in the corner of the endzone which I believe would have gave us a 14 or 21 pt lead and this wouldn't even be a conversation. As far as historical issues go talking about a state title run in '86 and deep runs the past 3 years (semis, finals, quarters) is hardly the same thing. Okay, I'm ready.... tell me how good BH is in all the other sports.
hold on a minute, Dayton. That's my job. ;D

Just curious.
It's not unusual to have change with a new AD/HC. It is unusual when the programs, for the most part, have been very successful.
