Let me say this game wasnt as close as the score indicates... The Mustangs could have easily put up 40+ on PNG, but they let off the gas in the 2nd quarter.. And also if it wasnt for some mental mistakes by the kickoff team and the defense one series it could have been shut-out #82 for the stangs.. Like I said all week this defense might be the best in the state and today they made a decent PNG team look like a bad team.. Good luck to PNG

If you count the scrimmages WOS has giving up two touchdowns in 3 outings against other teams..    O_o if that isnt impressive then idk what is.. I'm sticking with my gut WOS gts another shut out this Friday.. Score will be 14-0 Mustangs

Tony is a good kid and comes from a good family, but he is very over-rated..

Stangs get shut-out #82 this week,  The stangs hav two 3 year starters at linebacker in Joe Lynch and Daniel Woodson, They have a returning all district nose guard in Jahlyen Monnet, And Last but not least thy hav what you can argue is th TOP secondary in the state with 3 seniors in the secondary that currently hav D-1 offers in 5'11 175 cornerback  Quentin TezenoJR, ( currently committed to Utep), 6'2 185 cornerback J'Marcus Rhodes (Current Offers From Mcneese State and SFA) also 6'3 185 Safety Travon Blanchard (Currently Committed To Baylor) As well as sophomor safety 6'2 170 Deionte Thompson who in th 8th grade had the fastest 200 meter time in the nation for his age group.. This defense is special, word is the mustangs had and a players only meeting, and told the offense "if you guys put up between 14-17 points a game we'll handle the rest"

The total will rise to atleast 86 this year..

They wouldn't have scored later in the year either.. You guys will see , I'm predicting PNG gets the same treatment this coming Friday. WO-S defense is top notch, Big fast and physicall kids, I thought Colin Janice killed the poor LCM qb when he hit him for that safety. It will be interesting to see if PNG will b able to throw the ball on WO-S their secondary is one of the best WOS has field in years.

I think I read somewhere that LCM's runningback didn't even have 50 yards rushing and that LCM's offense didn't even get 100 yards total offense.. And the score could have been much worse WOS over thrw mulitipl times wideouts running down field for easy td's. Also Coach T called off the dogs in the second half. Everyone knew the game was over. But like I said many times before this Mustang D is the real DEAL! Teams will struggle to score on these kids. The first of many shutouts was tonight

Guys are getting mad at predictions but yet in every game thread peole want to know who scored and how many times each team scored.. So cut the crap about its just a scrimmage if thats the case we dont need to post threads asking about scores guy.. But with that said I predict WO-S 2 or 3 scores to Vidors 0 it will be tough for Vidor to move the ball on these mustangs

Coldspring is a vry well coached team.. This year they have a very impressive schedule of teams thy will play, also a potential 2nd round match-up against La'Marque qill b a great game also, the winner will play WO-S most likly in the 4th round. I know I'm getting way ahead of myself but I just lov watching those traditional powers go head to had

Just curious.  8) [/quote] They are the only two teams in their district that can probably shut down the teams they will play from a week to week basis.... I think them along with Vidor are the class of their district and I also think each of them will each go atleast to the 3rd round of the playoffs again

If Nederland is the 13th ranked team in 4A then WO-S when they hit their stride on offense will be a top 5 team in 3A their defense is as usual fast and physical. I think Nederland and Ozen will play for the district championship..

I was a 3 year starter for WO-S and played college football but I'm the person on this board that doesn't know what I'm talking about?? Ok.. And Vidor wasn't up big against WO-S they were up by 14 and WOS came back and beat them with their starters in the game, Also regarding bitter fans because Nderland finally beat WOS, that isn't the cas at all Nederland beat WOS fair and square no excuss to be mad, BUT any mustang fan will tell you, that Nederland caught us befor Coach T finally switched the offense back to mainly the spread offens, same can be said about the Vidor game, WOS came out throwing the 2nd half and Vidor couldn't run with us..

Also for the 2nd string comment WO-S has only if i counted correctly 25 kids who will have silver helmets, So really and truly WO-S doesnt have a second string and they havent had a true second string in years if you look at all of their games since last year the starters stay in the entire game..
