1. WO-S doesnt do controlled scrimmages, They do game like scrimmages were the score is kept, only thing different is they dont do live kick-offs and punt returns.. And even if it was controlled fans and coaches still keep score! Only fans and or coaches of a losing/un-successful program say things like "hey guys its just a scrimmage there isnt a score" Last year in the Vidor Scrimmage WO-S won with a last second field goal. Vidor was keeping the score and the time on the scoreboard
2. Who do you guys have winning this one?? I Have WO-S by 2td's

WOS is good, but they're not the old WOS.We'll see how LCM rises to the occasion. Hopefully those young kids coming up for LCM understand the bitterness of the rivalry, I feel like they're too young to know.
"they're not the old WOS". Please explain..
the WOS teams with multiple D1 talents on the team at the same time. talent just isn't what it was.. it's still good, but i remember a time when WOS absolutely dominated. talking about the early 2000s
This years WO-S squad will have the most D-1 talent on it since the late 80's early 2000's 5 D-1 players and another 2 or 3 juco guys on this years squad.. And only one of those guys is a full-time offensive guy, the rest are going to be apart of that nasty defense
4. WO-S 4th round match-up vs La'Marque winner takes state championship
5.
I might have been dreaming but last year I think that I saw some-where that Deionte Thompson was one of the fastest freshman in the nation. (USA) Oh heck, it had to be a dream.  There`s no way WOS would have a kid that fast. If it were true, that would be some more really bad news for the teams that WOS will play for the next 3 years such as Silsbee, don`t you think.
He had the fastest 200 meter time in the nation for his age group when he was in the 8th grade
6.

That entire sophmore class for WOS this year is going to be special, and Dee is one of the best in that group of standouts.  GREAT kid too, always been one of my favorites, since Little League... I can't wait to see him shine on Friday Nights...  Good work Dee... Proud of U
He is a good kid. He played J V last year, so we'll be waiting to see what he'll do under the Friday Night Lights!
He got moved up to Varsity by the end of the season.. He's fighting right now for a safety spot on defense..
7. yeah Singleton tweeted the other day that, he is fighting for a special teams spot this year, and that he basically has his work cut ou for him at DB
8. Im a big fan of DJ he will be great at Utah
9. after this season the Baylor coaches will be all over him, Travon has already told them Dee is going to be a superstar
10. This years defense has honestly the best group of talent since the 2000 squad.. And thats no joke
11. Jasper has 9 starters back on defense wow thats a huge advantage
12. I think Coach Mcphatter was at WO-S at one time
13.
Former HD Coach Jerry Stewart of Dayton.  Still a coach by HEART.  Has a winning record against every 4A school in SETX.
Those Dayton and WO-S gaes were always great battles.. Me and a forer teammate were talkking about Dayton the other day, always a very physical well coached bunch of kids..  I respect their program alot
14. I Think its Cornell Thompson but obviously im biased lol Im interested to hear what every one else thinks, and maybe to make it interesting every one should pick another coach besides there on and in that case I will go with the Coach of the Vidor Pirates, with the Nederland coach a close 2nd
15. Can one of the admins message me and let me know which rule I violated? I have said nothing wrong or false about anybody... A. Alex Cesar is a student athlete evident by him being ranked #2 in his class academically at a very competition heavy school in that regard, but on the football field he has yet to proven he can play a whole season and dominate.. He has everything you want size for his position, speed, and most important a good head on his shoulders, and a good Christian upbringing.. B. Colin Janice, he will be the first to tell you that I look out for him more then possibly anybody when it comes to recruiting, I wish nothing but the best for the young man, and for people to try and spin it into a negative shame on you he's like a brother to me and he knows I have his best interest at heart..
16. Deleted by admin due to violation of board rules.
17.

Travon Blanchard and Tony Brown are the best the 409 has to offer this year
Tony Brown is not a senior. I would put Sezar ahead of Blanchard.
tell that to anybody from Orange and they will laugh.. Sezar is a good prospect but he has yet to do anything production wise
18. Travon Blanchard and Tony Brown are the best the 409 has to offer this year
19.
Is Salter getting any looks from colleges?
Mcneese, Midwestern State, West Texas A&M,
20. Salter will start, but salter is also one oof the teams best cornerbacks, he was actually going to start over Utep signee Dacarlos Renfro at corner his sophomore year, but as we all know with the passing of Reggie Garrett (God Rest His Soul) Jimmy had to play QB.. Also Jimmy has been working hard this summer I expect a huge season from him
21. Im going with Newton, I wish them and WOS would play
22. WOW huge pick-up for LaMarque that possible 4th round atch-up against WO-S and LaMarque just got alot more interesting
23. He's now been added to the commited list on the Utep rivals site and the kids are talking about it on twitter, Another D-1 defender for this loaded WO-S defense this year
24. All WO-S has standing in their way is La'Marque in the 4th round, they win that game nobody will beat them.. Beaumont ozen gave them all they could handle last year, WO-S is way better then Ozen, and La'Marque is only returning 3 starters on offense, while WO-S is returning 5, both WO-S and La'Marque are returning 7 starters on two nasty defenses..
25.
At least ya'll are picked to play La Marque in the regional finals. Sounds like another easy side of the bracket come playoff time.
I would love to see that match-up it would be a great game
