1. WO-S has 10 seniors starting on defense 8 of them were starters last year... 5 of them are 3 year starters.. I dont think silsbee has a chance
 2. 6'2 185 wideout was Offered by SFA yesterday, they also offered Travon Blanchard, but he's already commited to Baylor.. WO-S will have 4 kids sign D-1 this year that amazing for a 3A school
 3.
Nederland will be the team to watch in 4A. Seasoned returning starters and strong crop of under class coming up this year.
it wont be nederland, i wish WO-S played you guys this year, yall win one time and take us off the schedule lol
 4.
What happened to WO-S the last time they played Central?
I played on that team in 2006, the last time WO-S played central we beat you guys like 37-14. We had Beasley at QB, Earl Thomas at Wideout, it wasnt even close after the first half
 5. Isay WO-S drops atleast 35 on them this year
 6. WOS? Memorial? Nederland? Ozen?? I say WO-S
 7. I dont see anything  to anybodyabout Dean from Newton being commited
 8.

Talk to my little brother said 10 of their starters on defense are seniors with the other guy being a sophomore.. with 10 seniors starting on D, I expect a deep run in the playoffs at a state title
For which team?
WO-S

 10.
According to several reports, the Mustangs' Travon Blanchard, Junior LB, has committed to Baylor.
great pick up for the Bears he will bring speed to their defense.
 11.
I would suspect that Collins in Livingston would be getting some looks as a DB/KR/PR (Ath). Not going to play QB at the next level, but could be in the mold of Harris who is doing well at A&M as a DB/PR. The big Sophomore (Washington) at Nederland will be on some radar screens this year. Not sure at what position.
According to Rivals the Top kids in this area are Chevoski Collins (Livingston he has offers from Texas Tech and Baylor he's ranked as one of the top 30 players in the state) Travon Blanchard (WOS has and offer from Baylor also ranked #54 on the top 100 players) Colin Janice (WOS no offers but # 65 on the top 100 list) Jalen Barnes from PA Memorial is also on the Top 100 list
 12. running back for WO-S will either be Colin janice, Kane Tezeno, or Abear Simeon,
 13. I would love to see WO-S vs LaMarque
 14. Who are the Top kids in the Golden Triangle for the class of 2013. Any of the area kids attracting bigtime attention yet?
 15.
I think Foreman and Flannigan would both be great choices for this job!
Foreman would get West Brook 1. deep in the playoffs, 2. State titles in track
 16. does coldspring have a message board id like to go read it if anybody has the link
 17.

coldsprings IS (NOT) the underdogs by no means  WE ALL KNOW THIS
I am just curious skipper, how do you know that WO-S is the underdog? Stats don't tell you anything, won and lost records do not mean anything, polls are out the window, individual team player records mean nothing, just how can you tell. It took me a little while to figuer it out, stats has nothing to do with who wins and who has the best team. It is all in the "Predicting", that is thing we must all watch. I am just now begining to get the hang of this "Point/Counter Point" begining to make sense. Improves everyones knowledge of the game.
Thats an easy one.  Its because Coldspring won the region last year, played in the State Championship game last year, and they have yet to lose a game this year.  They have also been ranked in the top 5 all year.  WO-S on the other hand, has 3 losses, struggled to beat some district opponents who didn't even make the playoffs, and are predicted to lose this game by all the HS football guru's; and oh yeah, have not been ranked in the top 10 the entire season.  Can't be much more of an underdog than that!!!
WO-S started the season ranked number 7 in 3a.. I think they are just now playing up to that ranking
 18.
The Conroe Football Blog has Coldspring winning by a 72% vote, I didn’t pay any attention to it because there are more local Coldspring fans on that board.
whats the link to there blog
 19. I was at west orange lastnight and watched them practice trust me the kids are focused and have nothing but Coldsprings on there mind..I compare Coldspring this year to the kirbyville team WO-S played last year.. WO-S lost only because our star quaterback had died and Salter the starter this year wasnt exactly ready to be in that type of game (who would) but that game was very close even though we only threw the ball i think 10 times which is not our offense we're looking to throw it atleast 20-25times... It'll be close early on but WO-S will Blow It Open After Halftime 28-10 WO-S
 20.
Is Ked Harrison not a D1 recruit?
what position does he play
 21.
Ease up Kicker, no one was making fun of this football player and if my link had stayed on I would of have this posted along time before you made the comment: Just facts and stats. Justin Thomas review listed as #61 With Justin Thomas sitting out this season because he's 20 years old, it's tough tell exactly what kind of prospect we're talking about. At his best, we've got an athletes that has to be in the conversation of best pound-for-pound players in the state. At 5-9, 165 pounds, whatever knock you want to make about his talent is strictly size related. It is what it is. If you focus on his strengths, it's clear we're talking about one of the state's most dynamic and explosive players. If a guy is going to be on the smallish side, he better have elite skills in the way of speed, quickness and athleticism. Check, check and double check. In an age where everyone is trying to speed up their film, Thomas has enough burst that he doesn't need to. We're talking about a kid that can flat out run and he'll undress someone in a phone booth when a chance in the open field presents itself. Offense, defense or special teams - he can contribute in a big way. He has to get stronger if he's going to play on defense, but he's just a football playing sonofagun.
Dacarlos is not ranked but he is on the website and his 7 D-1 Offers or listed on rivals.com....... on scout.com he is one of the top 75 db's in the nation
 22.
Greg Tepper and Travis Stewart, both of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football picks Coldspring to beat West Orange- Stark and to advance to State Simi-Finals On the subject of Top Football Players in Texas list I could only find two players and only one was playing in this game that was listed in the top recruiters list. For Coldspring Sherman Gilbert 4.5 40yd was listed as the 10th ranked RB in the state all though  Oklahoma State is recruiting him as an inside receiver. He also is listed as the 89th player in the Top 100 list. For WO-S the only player (ex-player) I could find was Justin Thomas was listed as the 41st DB in the state, but is ineligible to play because he is 20 years old. He was not listed in the Top 100 list. If there are other list please post for our friends we share this board with.
On orangebloods.com they have Colin janice and Travon Blanchard Both The Starting rovers for WO-S listed in the Top 100 for class of 2013 blanchard is # 54 and Colin is #65...

Who have you shut out this year?
We havent shut out many opponets because we didnt scrimmage and play 2a schools or weak 3A schools in the pre district schedule we played 4A playoff  teams like Vidor 4A 3rd round team we beat them. Nederland 4A 3rd round team we lost by 1 Friendswood 4A playoff team we lost by one in 2Ot's trust me we are battle tested if Coldsprings played that schedule they wouldnt have made it out alive
Did WOS shut out Orangefield? NO. CS did. Did WOS shut out Bridge City? NO. CS did. Did WOS shut out Cleveland? NO. CS did.
Has coldspring won a State title in Anything lately .......Hmmmm NO !!!
Nice future excuse for losing Friday. I bet you wil go to the "I know the WOS team of years ago would have beat ya'll" card.
Nope we'll say dang Coldsprings cant buy a championship
