im pretty sure coach martin has a plan to take care of j gray. If u stop j gray, u stop aledo. Your crazy if you think he is not the team. He is the Patton Manning of Aledo. With out him. They will loose.

Ok the kid is .a football player. If u have time to dance your way into.the inzone, then that just speaks for its self. Ive seen worse. That ref obviously had something against that kid. we can sit here & speculate all day. but we will see that kid in the NFL in four or five years. So im sure that ref is the last thing on gray's mind

Lets think about this logically. LaMarque always beats Callalen in this round of play. & Manvel has beat LaMarque twice. Im thinking Callallen is counting their chickens just cause manvel is new. But lets renember, this is only thier third year of varsity football & they have dominated every team. They are from the toughest district 24-4A

Finally justice was served and those cougars were knocked off thier high horse. Im happy manvel won. Hoka Hey all the Maverick fans. Seems you guys were the favorite. Hope to see u all at State championship

In the other threads theres too much speculation on this brawl that accured. I want to know straight up. Who do you think is coming out with the victory on saturday and why? My moneys on Manvel. Numbers dont lie. And they run up the score on most of their oppenents

i will say this before i leave. i really hope this incident will make the la marque school district open their eyes. this is the third scandal in one semester. First your volleyball plays are on the  news caught on camera steal thousands of dollars worth of items. Next you have a coach that involved in a scandal with young girls. Now this. How much bad press does a school need before things start to change over there. Because until then, enrollement numbers will drop and LaMarque might be 2A before you know it. I wish you all the best

which is why i state things from my experiences only. and we are talking about principle. not whether the tournament is advised by UIL.  the message it is sending to the students who work hard everyday and turn the other cheek. its really sad. i just hope the integrity of the sport is no longer compromised

this is a forum. i will not name people specifically. that is just tacky. i am only speaking from my experiences from playing along side some LMHS alum. As far as punishment, which is what this thread is about. I encourage all of you that have a problem with the punishment to have your voice heard besides in this forum. email the UIL directors directly. If i can recall, manvel and dawson fought in a 7 on 7 tournament over the summer. Both schools were disqualified and the boys were punished. So what message is that sending to not punish the Cougars.

[/quote] have to say i was fortunate enough to never have to play those guys. i played along side a couple in college. that was before they were kicked off the team of course. poor grades and poor attitudes is a poor combination

there is no hate. at the end of the day. the reputation of your district and students percieves its self. i went and played college football along side some lamarque players. and the lack of discipline is appauling. either that or they were failing their classes. you guys should be more concerned with getting your kids across the stage and prepared for the college level. cause its seems that once they hit college, the cougars drop like flies. Why do you think all of the really good players have moved to dickinson or texas city. its because at the end of the day, the school and the district just arent cutting it
