Let me apologize for eagles 1. We were lucky to come out of the game against LCM victorious. We are no better than an average 2A ball club. That is why we scheduled powder puff schools to begin with. Hopefully we can get our program where the almighty B/B are . I see where they beat Madisonville 10 to 7. If we stay within 30 of madisonville that will be a moral victory for us.

Sorry for the low turnout . All JV and JR High kids and parents doing volunteer work providing weight training classes at the Gibb Lewis. It is nice to see linemen walking around and it looks like legs sticking out of their shoulder pads. I guess they can’t afford weight rooms at LCM and Bridge City, seeing how Diboll man handled them as well.

Don’t worry about these Tyler county kids they are good boys that volunteer giving weight training classes at the Gib Lewis unit. They are also starting 8 underclassmen.very young. Nothing to worry about.

Woodville looks the same as last year. CC has some speed 10 x faster than Crockett, if CC ran the spread they would be dangerous.

Woodville won 4 to 0. Against the slowest team I have seen Crockett field in years. So it is hard to tell what we have . We still can’t pass, the fans we’re getting loud. Crockett qb looked descent and big DE looked good. 1 scrimmage left to iron things out.

I was at that scrimmage last year, both teams looked rough with the exception of your Quarterback, he was impressive. Wish he was on our side. If I remember right he will be back this year. If so y’all will most definitely be in the hunt with Franklin.

Yes Woodville returns a few starters but trying to replace 8 starters including the fastest in district C J Wooten including most of the defensive line and half the linebackers and secondary with freshman and sophomores will be a challenge

No need to worry about Woodville, They graduated everyone from last Year’s team. All underclassmen very young. Franklin is a different story. They should be the favorite to win it all.

Yes please keep this stat . I think the kids should be recognized for their accomplishments. Home runs , no hitters , strike outs etc.

I agree with aTm on this one we must find someone who can spin a ball, and we do have several who can. So putting the right person there will be no problem , can’t worry about hurt feelings. Just do what is right for the team.

As a Woodville supporter,I would love to see Newton, Silsbee WOS, Central,Jasper ,Carthage,Gilmer all in a tournament type format compete at a college stadium SFA Lamar site. To showcase their talent. But woe is me Woodville probably wouldn’t go for it.
