Great game by both coaches and players. Hopefully this will continue.

I just hope everyone from Kountze stays healthy. They just dont understand how strong and physical the Kids from Newton are. Years in the weight room make a difference.

If both players and coaches live up to their abilities Woodville wins this game.

Thats the thing about talent.Very few coaches and even fewer fans can recognize it.

Woodville should blow out Kountze by 50+ with the athletes they put on the field, but with the situation they are in, Kountze will win by 16 The wdv Kids have been put to far behind the 8 ball to recover. 

Coaching makes all the difference in the world. Good coaches turn average teams into great teams.

With the beatings the backfield has been taking they have to be deep. last chance to right the ship. This is a make or break ball game for the Eagles.

I dont think kountze understands how much Shepards athletic program has improved. Small schools no longer want to play Shepard now the line up to play kountze.  ;D

Kirbyville and Kountze will no doubt be better than last year but with that being said kirbyville will at best be 6-4 on the season. Kountze will go unbeaten until dist starts then they will finish 5-5 for the year.Kirbyville will win maybe 4 dist. games and Kountze will win 2. 8)

Wow I cant believe Kirbyville and Kountze are putting such large targets on themselves this early in the year. So Much Emotion!

Kvillecats may be right but I dont think they understand that the 3 teams that made the playoffs last year will be much improved. They all 3 will be better than they have been in years. 

Someone must step up be a man, and recomend to the board that chester consolidate with its neighbors. Corrigan Woodville or Colmesneil. They are doing more harm than good by keeping the doors open. Those who think differenty have their heads in the sand. The kids deserve better.

can someone explain why most of the state championships in football and baseball come from central,west or northeast texas. and a majority of the D1 talent comes from east texas.
