Maybe it would have been a good time to teach them how to take a knee.  As said, I have no problem with the players, they did what they were supposed to.

Well played ball game by both teams. Good win for Warren.

First of all Colby pitched a great game.  Should have been pulled much earlier. I hope he's ok. The warriors seized an opportunity they should have never had.  My hats off to them for coming through.  The little relief pitcher for Kountze was frustrated and let his emotions through at the worst time. I am very proud of the warriors and their coaches, real class act.  It was a game you just had to be there to appreciate.  Warren scored 12 runs in the 7th, 9 with 2 outs.  Kountze had bases loaded 2 outs and failed to score. Bottom line Colby Price!

Little league coach calls time out. Huddles all the players around 2nd base while base runner takes a leak.  I thought it showed real sportsmanship.

It was very ugly.  Woodville batter hit by pitch, charged the mound,  dugouts cleared.  It was tied bottom of 5th. I guess woodville had to forfeit. It was obvious the woodville coach was irate. The umpires called the game and left.  the Warren boys huddled up for a prayer afterwards.  The Warren coach is a class act.

After the first game they looked good.  BIG bats.  Home game monday, should be a fun season, especially district.
