I think Donahoe is the best player but the MVP would have to be Thomas from EC. HJ is not as good without Donahoe but EC would be lost without Thomas. Letsinger is a close second in that regard.

Well h#ll yes they should close school. These are much more than basketball games. It brings the students and community together like nothing else. It can even make Warren and Fred get along.

WH had a great run. Everyone involved should be very proud. You need to hang Letsingers jersey up in the gym. He will be seriously missed. Good job fellas. When it gets to the playoffs the records mean nothing and one bad game or one injury can finish a season. That's why it's so exciting. Hope Brandon can find a place to keep playing.

Playing the 4th game and the game with Arp I believe was a factor. EC was beat up and just didn't have the bench Kountze had. EC had a great season and should be proud. Hargraves is an excellent coach and Thomas is the best 2A player in the state. Now, Kountze bring it home for the district. It's yours don't let them take it from you. Good job by all.

My bad! Williams was supposed to be there. Typo with Hargraves being there twice. I put Carter there because of the 500+ wins and the turnaround in Warren. Sorry, for the goof.

Warren's goal was to win 20 games and make the playoffs. They accomplished this and I can assure you third place will NOT be the goal for next year. They lost one starter and have 4 returning with a 24-8 record. I don't believe Kountze, EC and Hardin will be as strong next year, they are all loosing key players. Deweyville will be better and who knows about Buna and Anahuac. Warren should be in position to make a run for District. It should be fun for all next year.

Newton was the quickest team we've played. If they were a basketball team they would really be a contender. I believe they are quicker than Kountze, just not as skilled. Warren should be okay next year with everyone coming back. Good season boys. You accomplished all your goals and then some.

Thomas is the best I've seen.

If WOS shows up to play they will win by 20. Watched them both this weekend. WOS played bad but has the players to win big. Splendora did not impress me at all.

I stand corrected. After tonights games not only should Donahoe be "player of the Year" he should also be "MVP". He was all the offense HJ had. I like Thomas and he is a great player but I believe Donahoe has more skills. Hey they are both fun to watch.

Great game. Thomas was the key. If those three refs are the best in the chapter it's a joke. They were bad both ways, it's a wonder someone wasn't really hurt.
