HJ played much better last night although their 3's still arent falling but they will and when they do HJ will be alot tougher to handle...it looked like a completly different HJ team hustling making most of their free throws taking the ball the rack instead of settling on the long shot and taking charges we left it all out on the court and if we can play like that every game i will like our chances to keep winning if we play like we did against nederland it might be a longg season but coach sutherland will not allow the second to happen great game hawks

does anyone have the time of these games yet???

yeah i know it opened our eyes which need to happen, but that still doesnt ease the disapointment of the loss

I think that the HJ coaching staff is more than capable of making the adjustments that are needed!!!! they will indeed make the adjustments but i can account for how every player felt letting down the home crowd on friday so i would not expect to see that HJ team ever again they will be ready for Kountze

yess kountze will travel to play HJ on tuesday but varisty will be the only boys game that day..the game will follow the girls game...hecklers i know it was not what yall wanted to see friday but we still need all of yall to show up and support us

HJ is very young/inexperienced and it showed friday they did not make a single three, struggled from the free throw line, and nederland came with an amazing game plan that they ran perfectly they made 7 3's did not miss many free throws and number 13 carried them nederland is a very good team and i can see them getting 2nd in their district challenging ozen when they play them

is nederland missing any players that are still in the playoffs for football?

let everyone put down HJ like they have been doing all year that will just give our boys a reason to come out and try to prove everyone wrong im not saying HJ is better then Cleveland and there would be no facts to prove that even if i did but im just saying HJ isnt just going to roll over because Cleveland is 9-0 and beat them once already if we can keep the turnover differential within 2 itll be a close game if not we can just pack it in and get ready for the hardwood

ive noticed that too we might as well stay and practice soo we can avoid any inuries that might occur since we are just gonna get our butts kicked anyways....

they are two totally different kinds of shape in football you run a play and then have time to rest after every play for the next play to be called in while in basketball you are going non-stop barring a foul, timeout, or a few other exceptions...it takes a few days to weeks for most football players to get compltely into basketball shape

i dont get why noone is talking about orangefield i mean they are going to be pretty good this year they should get atleast a little respect

should be a great scrimage even with all the football boys not playing both teams have been practcing hard and are just waiting for the chance to play someone other than themselves

I'll repost this for my rebuttle: The question is not if Silsbee could run on WOS, it's can Silsbee run on HJ. Nobody has ran well against WOS, including the BIG BAD HJ run game . What, ya'll got maybe 25 yards rushing against the Stangs? Total offense of what, 40 yards? The Tigers had 210 yards of offense against WOS, 170 passing, 40 rushing. Yes, we only scored 7 points but if my math is correct, that is 7 more than what HJ scored. Also Silsbee had 170 more yards of offense than HJ. The Tigers will be able to run and pass on HJ, you can count on it. Defensively, the Tigers faired much better than HJ did or any other team has against WOS all year. We limited the Stangs to their lowest point and yardage total for the season and that was an overtime game to boot. WOS didn't get on the scoreboard until the 4th quarter. What, it was 20 to nothing at the half of ya'lls game. Silsbee may not shut HJ down like WOS did, but the Tiger defense is the next best thing. he was not trying to say anything about how many yards yall put up against WOS compared to us he was simply stating that if WOS only had 90 rushing yards against he doesnt see Silsbee getting 175
