4.

BlueDove, You feeling alright?  You're being kind and almost complimentary to Nederland.
Don't fall for that. Its all part of his well planned scheme.  ;)
Whoa now, easy there. Not too often do you hear "well planned" and Bluedove in the same breath lol  ;)
Most off the time they are close. Not this time.
Wow, catman was right! Man I thought the score was mis-typed or sumthin, goodrich did have it coming to them though...they've been doing that to teams for the past few years too
 6. Lol if a 29 point victory is a close victory then i dnt wanna know what a blowout is BS should beat goodrich, it's at home and they play well at their place.
Makes a run at what? Not sure I understand what you are asking.
I think he is talking about football.  Most of the smaller schools basketball teams also play football.  Teams like Newton may be playing football into December. ^ This must be it. I see what he means now

They are, they are #4.
Yeah i know, i had to look after he posted that. not too sure what he's getting at
 9. The BS starters gave H-J a good run the other nite in a scrimmage in the first.
I would have never thought that thet would have moved out of Big Sandy , I played college baseball with his Dad in the early 90s at San Jac , do you have any ideal why they moved ?
I heard that hendrix moved because of baseball, idk though. supposedly he is an above average pitcher.

 11.
With Ridge, Shroff and Melancon the Oilers will be good enough to challenge Big Sandy or Colmesniel for the district championship.
I like the optimism but I don't think you understand. BS beat WH last year with ease both time they met, and now this year they are better than last year. Unless WH brought in some studs are have same fabulous freshmen coming up then I just don't see it being close at all. And as far as Colmensneil, they'll be lucky to get 3rd, much less 1st
 12.
Hendrix moved to Cy-Fair.  He will be missed this year but they do have a solid freshman boys coming in. The BS starters gave H-J a good run the other nite in a scrimmage in the first.
Yeah I heard BS beat Ozen pretty good, 37-12, but i was also told that it was probably mostly Ozen's JV. Still pretty impressive though. 1A v. 4A jv
 13.

Anyone want to give us a little info on the HJ/Ozen scrimmage?  Did Ozen's quick guards shut down HJ's point? Was it evenly matched?
I was wondering if we would ever hear what teams looked like and not all this other stuff..
It's all inside jokes...I myself, hope to be a part of one someday. There should be a forum just for them 2, it can be called "The out in left-field" forum
 14.

Anybody got results from these games?
Hj loses to Ozen and beats big Sandy and Goodrich.  Even though it causes me great pain to say this, the Little Doves were impressive tonight.
Haha  :D What about BS? How'd they look?
 15. Anybody got results from these games?
 16.
someone please explain to me how big sandy will be better than last yr with the loss of #11 and and the black post player?(not racist) and i think sp and evadale will be the other playoff teams and battle for #2 could be up for grabs!
i just looked on the tabc website and they had 2 all region players last year..and one of them is still on the team cause thye were both juniors. hendrix was one but he left. solid group of fish on that team, and everyone else is a yr older  ;)
 17.
HD just got that 6'4 Mosely kid from Liberty..supposedly can play.  Plus a couple other pretty athletic kids. HD was predicted last in football too and are about to win district. Just saying...
HD will be right in the mix for the 3rd spot but I think either WH or SP will get that. Oh and you can't compare district football and basketball predictions...that'd be like comparing the cross country and tennis teams standings in district lol
 18. This district will play out just like last year, except evadle won't be as good and BS will be much better. 1. BS 2. Evadale 3. WH/SP
 19. I know these are just scrimmages, and some of the impact guys for these teams are still in foosball...but them dawgs look pretty solid. just sayin'
 20.
no hope for anyone else? with the loss of hendricks and the other post player(black) not being racist
who do you got jwp? i dont see it being close at all, big sandy by 15+ every game

In the half court what is a guard going to do from preventing a post from getting offensive/defensive boards and scoring? IMO, which i know means nothing to anyone on here, but it is much easier to contain a guard on the perimeter than a post down low.
In the half court what is a big going to do trying to hold a guard after switching in the pick-n-roll. There isn't a big in this area who can hold any of the many quick guards in this area.
HA! There's your prblem bro, you switched. That's lazy D, bump that kid so he cant roll, dont be weak
Have you seen the footwork for most bigs in high school? C'mon now!!! Think real hard!!
You've clearly gotten away from the topic, Would you rather have a dominant post or guard? idc about "most bigs" I'm talking about an absolute dominant post. If you have that dominant post then footwork is clearly not an issue, if it were then he wouldnt be dominant. think real hard ha!
Hmmm, the original poster asked about (1) HIGH SCHOOL post-players(2) HIGH SCHOOL guards. No, you think real hard!!
LOL ur thinking too hard my friend. clearly your upset and that's ok, since you're one of those guys whose opinion is "correct" and doesn't really seem to be open to anything else. I've made my point and can obviously see that with either situation it's a win/win, however if given the option I would choose the post at the HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL. I enjoyed this ha
