Lamar grabs sole possession of 3rd place today after they shot a round of 7 under......second best round of the day behind Tulsa (the leaders) who shot a round of 8 under.

I remember DickyV talking about Reddick and he said either J.J. or Mullin was the best he'd ever seen at the college level.

I didn't know anyone had them picked almost last in the district? He did a great job with the Hawks this year no doubt, but I don't see how you can look past Kyle Green (Vidor) or Coach Griff (LC-M) for this award.....

Rowell's one of the best I've seen at rapping his glove in to make it look like the pitch caught the corner.....he got a lot of strikes called for his pitchers this year with this ability. The two games that I saw Massey behind the plate in this year, I was really impressed. He has really good foot work and a pretty strong arm, good combination for throwing baserunners out. Mosier needs to work on his all around game. I don't know the numbers but from what I saw he was pretty weak at the plate. As a defensive catcher he's pretty legit.....and he has a HOSE!!!!! One of the strongest arms I've seen in a while.......

The Examiner puts out a SETexas Football Guide every year...last year's cover boy was Joe Chaisson of WB....good stuff dedicated to every football program in setexas. It's getting better and better every year, it's won awards and everything....

I like LCM in 3 also......I think they will take the first game, and I'd like to see Brown throw.....He's done really well especially as of late! The Vidor game he was lights out.....

The left fielder for Silsbee booted the ball hit down the line....that's how the kid from first was able to score.....still good job reading the play by the coach on third to wave him in...if not for the bobble he would have held him up.

Man c'mon....did you forget about Will Gully....absolute beast! And still was crackin' heads at UH. He came in the game at quarterback late in the third quarter against Hamshire in the playoffs his senior year and tore them to shreads and he didn't even play QB. My buddy from Hamshire said he's never been hit that hard in his life when Will hit him.

Houston Heritage Christian or Humble Christian Life....it's the same school they just changed the name. Those kids play all over the country...your tellin' me they couldn't find a tournament so they came to play in Nederland, Tx against PN-G. I think a little bit had to do with Ozen and a former NATIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR award winner being there.

So New Caney was playin football, and Forest Brook was playin soccer??? man that's terrible Forest Brook show some backbone!

They're always like that and it keeps people excited instead of just sitting there watching a slow moving baseball game. I like the music they play after a bomb has been hit. ;D
