yeah, but i hate to unleash a rifle in a spot where deer and hogs come through :) sounds like there are no deer or hogs coming through, probably should have shot the rabbit. ;D

according to one of the Oakwood alumni Chester came out and gave Oakwood a good run for a little while but Oakwood took the victory 71-25.

This was the Apple Springs vs. High Island game, Apple Springs won 72-36.

That is correct the final score was 33-12 congrats to Chester on the win, good game by both schools.

Being it was High Islands very first time to play any 6-man they did ok. They turned the ball over a few times and mostly just simple mistakes. In the first part of the scrimmage High Island scored two times and OCC scored three. At the end they played a live quarter and both teams scored two times apiece.

I know that they had some injuries after they played Bmt. Legacy and the coaches decided to take the week off instead of playing Deweyville so they could heal. However I have not heard anything about them cancelling the entire season.

I know one of them had a severe break to the ankle area (compound fracture) and was life flighted not sure about the other injury, but hope both of these young men make a speedy recovery.
