  1. The Roughrider Organization is PROUD to say they have one of the top ball teams in the state as well as Nation. Our Roughrider (red) 9uAA is currently ranked #2 in the State and #5 Nationally. They have scored a total of 209 runs with only allowing 84 against them. They have won 3 out of the 4 USSSA tournaments they have played in. This team is made up of the top players from LCM & PNG. These boys are showing a lot of promise for the future and I look forward to seeing what they will make of it. Hats off to you coaches for putting together a great bunch of boys that truly love the game of baseball. Good Luck and keep representing our organization WELL!! Go Riders!!
  2. Silsbee coaches know how to do their job quite well so enough with the coach bashing. You can think of it this way do you want you child sitting there on varsity not playing at all or would you rather him get some playing time down on JV. Why is this even a topic??
  3. Well----This game surprised some of you who posted that BC would win by more than 5??? This district-- who know what will happen with such good pitching by so many teams..
  4. 1. Jasper 2. BC 3. Silsbee
  5. Yep you can tell your a vidor fan again something that was written about another team that you have played was taken the wrong way. I was not making excuses for Silsbee just stating the fact that they have some bad luck here lately but things will come together for them. I never wrote anything bad about your team. I think your team is going to challenge a lot of people this year in district. Green and Trawhon are both building programs in the right direction. So please it's time to get the chip off of your shoulder..Not everybody bashes VIDOR..
  6. Yes Silsbee is starting slow but I'm not worried. They had no scrimmages with their whole team. The game yesterday was the first that the entire team has been together since the flu outbreak. Hopefully things will start to come together for them. I know they pitched Walcot for most of the game trying to get him some experience. He is a first time pitcher and the coaches are just wanting him to get some playing time in as for as McDonald and Skinner they both did well. District is still a long way away and if I know Trawhon he will have his boys ready to compete for one of the three spots..
  7. Should be a good game and a close game only to the fact that from what I hear Silsbee has had a hit with the flu. Yesterday would have been the first time of practice with most of their players back. The past couple of weeks the tigers have been faced with many obstacles due to the weather and flu forcing the Tigers with little practice and if I'm thinking right only 1 scrimmage. Hopefully all will be rested, well, and ready to go by the time district begins..Geaux Tigers and Good Luck..
