I haven't a prediction because I know nothing of the other team...but I'm behind Kountze all the way --- they've found their "groove" again, and it's going to take alot to take it away from them. Bring it home boys...bring it back to the Lion's Den!

We know that it's not the first - but it's the first in many, many years....I believe, <and don't quote me on this because I'm not completely sure> it was said that the last time WH won district and advanced to playoffs was 1972. However, this is the first time that WH has made it this far into the playoffs. Let WH and their fans celebrate....it's been an exceptional year. To get back to the topic of this post - Fuller for Coach of the Year. And yes, I'm partial, but I remain behind Fuller 100%....

I agree...it would have been great if WH would have filled the 4th slot going to Austin. But, alas, with pride we congratulate the 3 that are representing Southeast Texas. West Hardin made a phenominal run this year; it was an honor watching and supporting those boys. Kountze - bring it back to the Lion's Den, where basketball is not only king, but a way of life... Hardin Jefferson - fly with the best of them Hawks, and carry it back with you... Ozen - take what's yours Panthers, and make Beaumont proud... Once again, Congratulations to all!

I personally think that HJ should close school; if not, they are going to have an immense amount of absences regardless. It would give the students, as well as the faculty a chance to show school pride and give the support that HJ deserves. It's an honor to be in the state tourney....chalk it up as a "bad weather day" on the school calendar if it's the particulars that are getting in the way...again - just my opinion

Also - I want to say again how very proud I am of all of the SETexas teams on their performances this season - it was absolutely phenominal!
