Bats are still cold for the Rangers and not makiing the routine plays in the field not a good combination for the Rangers.  Hopefully they can get things going during the gary herrington tournament this weekend and get on  track before district starts , just need to play better baseball all the way around . Ricky Salinas (Jr.)  and Nick Buckner (Sr.)  from Northshore hit homeruns saturday

Theres a few teams in the district that have a dominating one two punch pitching wise , but overall I think this district will come down to which team can play the best defense for there pitchers and also who stays hot with the sticks . But it will be an interesting season because on any night anyone can win .

Tuesday night @ Sterling @ 7 p.m. Should be a good game . Sterling just needs there bats to heat up and capitalize with runners in scoring position.  Good luck Rangers

Great game to start off the season for Sterling, alot of quality at bats and timely hitting pulled the Rangers out in front for a big lead, pitching and defense then shut it down for a good win and confidence booster for the Rangers.  Good luck in the La porte tournament this weekend !

Boogie, Snyder, and Ty Vaughn all threw well to combine for the win tonight , Sterling jumped out to a 2 to 0 lead in the first inning and never looked back .  Defense and pitching held off a late rally by the mavericks , great job Rangers and good luck trying to finish the series off tomorrow night at Sterling. Brett Boudreaux also homered in the game for Sterling.

Dont know much about the Pasadena team but definitely getting the win on Thursday would be huge for Sterling

Rangers clinched 3rd place with the win , Rangers hit the ball well throughout the game but it seemed to be right at someone but they got 4 runs across .  Rios pitched complete game for the win.  Great Job Rangers and good luck into the playoffs!
