Rescheduled for tomorrow at Sterling at 3:00 p.m.

Still 2 games in front of Channelview and there final 4 games are with Westbrook and Northshore, Rangers have 1 more with Northshore and then finish off the season with Port Arthur so we still seem to have a good chance.  Rangers hold there own destiny but need to get over the hump and finish there season on a winning streak , but alot of things can change in the last week of the season so will see .

Northshore  5 Rangers      4  Final Sterling had its chances actually even out hit Northshore but just stranded to many baserunners throughout the game .  Boogie pitched 5 innings for Sterling and Kyle Hill came in and finished the game, Ricky Salinas pitched for Northshore and pitched a complete game for the win.

Game is still on and will be in Northshore at 7 tonight.  Good luck Rangers hopefully we can get a big win tonight and get back in the right direction. 

Nick Buckner got the win for Northshore tonight (Jr.) and also hit two homeruns in the game .

Vaughn pitched a great game tonight he went the distance for Sterling , but another close game that the Rangers should of had but just cant get over the hump this week.  Four games left in district just need to keep battling and try to end the season off good to grab a playoff spot. Yes a split Friday would be real nice and im not sure exactly what district we would match up with first .  Rangers are playing with alot of heart right now just need to tighten things up and grab a playoff spot and go from there .

Northshore    12    La Porte        3  Final Ricky Salinas gave up 2 earned runs and had 11 strikeouts for the win (soph.) for Northshore

Boogie, keats, Rios, Snyder pretty much everyone lol.  Between errors and horrible officiating Sterling fell short last night.  Sterling hit the ball really well late in the game but just couldnt hold them off defensively just couldnt seem to get that third out .  Good luck to the Rangers Friday night the game will be a Sterling against Channelview hopefully this one has a baseball score and not a football one lol.  Channelview used 3 pitchers throughout the game.

Channelview    13 Rangers          12  Fimal  It went 12innings or 13 and the Rangers battled back and forth but lost a heartbreaker late !

Rangers couldnt get it done tonight started out alittle flat tonight , they left to many baserunners on base and had a few errors throughout the game but overall just wasnt Sterlings night .  Just need to regroup and come out strong against channelview next week . Rangers  1 La Porte  5    Final

Rangers  9 La Porte  4  Final Robert (boogie) Russell pitched and did a great job for the win he pitched a complete game , Rangers put up some runs for him and he got the job done.  Nice win for the Rangers they all contributed and did a great job, good luck thursday as they play La Porte in La Porte at 7.

Northshore  7                     Port Arthur  6  Final         

Rangers win a great game in the bottom of the 7th inning with a 4 run comeback , derek paddie ended the game on  a 2 run single to give the Rangers a 5 to 4 win .  Starks pitched a great game he went 6 2/3 innings and Rios closed it out .  Good luck to the Rangers as they will face La Porte next week hopefully they can keep the win streak going!

Rangers have pulled off 3 straight wins and are back in the district race and playoff hunt , but a win tonight against westbrook would really help.  Good luck Rangers

Another great job on the mound by Robert (boogie) Russell , he leads the Rangers to another victory over beaumont westbrook .  Rangers hit the ball hard and seem to be hitting more consistent as a team overall and they are finally getting some good timely hitting.  Great job Rangers another great team effort and a big win!

Game will be played Saturday at 1 in Port Author instead of Friday night at 7

Great team win Rangers , Starks pitched complete game and did a outstanding job.  Rangers had solid defense and had a couple of key hits to capitalize on a few walks and a error from Northshore.  Overall team did a great job good luck to the Rangers as they play Port Author next district game.
