1. Well, La Porte bowed out. Still pretty impressed with a running team going to Champ Quarterfinas in 7 on 7. Should be an interesting year. I'd say between Manvel, PAM, LP, the area is well represented. Can't wait for pads!
 2. Great job PAM! It'd be funny as heck if PAM won consolation & LP won Champ. Big plus for 21-5A exposure.

Exactly what does this comment mean: "off the board everybody other than Jefferson, Orange, Jasper, Newton, Hardin, Tyler, Chambers, Liberty County" ??? ??? ??? ???
smh  ::)
Keep going. Pretty soon you'll have it narrowed down to city limits.  ;D

 5.
No, PAM did good last year but it was a good group of kids and all of 21-5a was weak last year but if you check the records they lost to Laport and just got by West Brook, that West Brook team was one the weakest in 8 yrs because if you check all of the records that was the first time PAM beat West Brook; all the Beaumont schools have winning records over PAM; and please you PAM guys let me know if you need a copy of how many PROS are from BEAUMONT its about time you win a few games with one high school in your city, you still havent been to a state game  man if Beaumont only had TWO high schools this hold area would have problems in every sport. Oh thats right Beaumont schools do win over PAM in every sport.
Not sure how you can even come close to saying 21-5A was weak when there was a rematch in the Regional Finals for 2 of the teams, and 1 other lost to a State Finalist that barely lost in the Title Game. My book says that's 3 out of 4. Just sayin'.
 6.
PAM is focused on Soulja's Jags, week 0 for now. We'll think about Rd. 1 a few months from now.
Good answer. Only reason mentioned was because of a previous reference to PO games against Pasadena schools. Important to remember that Pearland and Manvel are now 22-5A.
 7. The #2 Div. 2 seed in 21-5A will most likely face Manvel Rd. 1.
 8. The Deer have been fundamentally sound in the trenches for quite a while. I don't think I'd be so quick to dismiss them. Add their fairly balanced attack and they're a tough out for anyone in 21-5A.
 9.
beware...............its gonna be a long season for some of you.  >:(
BS & CV?
 10. I'd say BS & CV will have a tough time. The other 5 will duke it out for 4 spots. LP has the most returning AD players. NS has the numbers and an always tough D. They also have a solid returning QB. PAM's riding high and always has talent. DP & BWB are a toss-up to me. Flanagan's had success elsewhere and DP has numbers and a typically tough D. I'd give the edge to BWB right now simply because DP isn't used to facing a 21-5A schedule week in and out.
