That's because of coaching....Back then Humble high would have killed Katy, if they had better coaches, and majority of the community can tell you that ::)
 2.
One last observation about Justin in the Crosby game, he made TWO game changing plays. The first was an interception in the endzone. The 2nd was a huge tackle that stopped one of the twins on 4th n short when Crosby was driving deep on our side of the field. Coach Ford gave a lot of praise to Justin in an interview after the game.
I remember that play against Crosby, when he stopped the twin, but I'm talking about pass plays, even in 7 on 7 in the summer, they threw to his side a lot, because they were able to. He's not a bad kid at all, what I'm saying its someone need to tell him to be more aggressive at the corner position, and stop just going through the motions.....if he can work his ball skills out there in the game, he will be a good corner
Justin need to have a big game. He struggles with the pass. That's why Crosby had a lot of yards passing...
I half way agree to that.  He can freeze up because he's expecting help from the safeties and linebackers (in the flat).  He really needs to be more aggressive and act like the ball is his when its in the air.  Where I disagree is he's essentially a "cover corner" that is rarely out of position.  He can stay with even the quickest of receivers and this will stop most QB's from throwning on his side.  I can't remember the last time he's been burned deep.  Now, SC's safeties have taken a nap from time to time.  Most recently that WIDE OPEN Vidor receiver that would have gotten an easy 6 if their QB could have made the pass. Crosby had a big game because our OLB's couldn't get their a** to the flat.
That's true too....Justin watches the ball in the air, and watch the WR get in position to make a play, but don't react to ball.....that's not good. I believe #23 should be over there in that spot...

 5.
Aaron reminds me of a Randall Cunningham style QB that can stay in the pocket. He has the same effortless throwing motion and is very dangerous out the pocket. Would love to see him as the big fish in a smaller pond.
Yea, I'm looking forward to see where a lot of those kids end up as far as college
Those aren't good pics either, this one looks like he's sidearming it: [Hidden Content] This one looks more like the low release point I was talking about: [Hidden Content] Can't tell from a picture because it's just one frame of a progression. I still think he goes big time and gets at least a dozen offers, but these are some kids that are similar that have had some of these offers for over a year that are on Sharp's level. *click on "show all" under where it says they committed to show all they offers they received* 1. JT Barrett -  [Hidden Content] 2. Kenny Hill - [Hidden Content] 3. Devante Kincaid - [Hidden Content] Sharp reminds me a lot of my cousin. He accomplished more than Sharp has at a bigger program and they told him the exact same thing about his release point. They still wanted him though because they thought he was just that good, which is why I don't think Aaron will have any issues. Same size in high school but Christian was a better runner. Christian wasn't as accurate though where Sharp is deadly accurate. [Hidden Content]
Yea I know what you mean as far as some pics, you never know what he's doing with the ball when they snapped the picture....

In this day an age of recruiting if you dnt have and offer from a FBS. School you probably wont get one, most teams are full. Im suprised Mcneese Lamar and SFA haven't offered
That's exactly the opposite of the truth, only the elite talents have offers now. On normal kids schools wait because they always think they can get players they can't. They have a certain number of slots to fill at a certain position. If a school is looking at dbs they have a wish list and a another list of who they would take if all those kids commit. Pick an offer/commit sheet to look at on ESPN, right now you have all the "wish" kids with offers and the others with just "interest". When the "wish" kids commit then they offer the "interest" kids, but that usually isn't until January when they review all the kids on their "big board's" senior season. A lot of seniors right now are just getting recruiting calls and letters, once it gets closer to signing day you will start to see those turn into offers. Kids like Mitchell and Raliegh Johnson just have interest right now, by the new year they'll start to pick up offers. Jakobi Jones doesn't have an official offer on rivals yet either, do you think he's going to Lamar or McNeese? Please post what you know. Recruiting has jumped over the years if you dnt have and offer by now from a fbs school your probably not getting one. And yes Jakobi Jones will end up at a juco or Lamar or Mcneese type of school. I do all the recruiting for WOS and most of my kids had offers before the season started and while they are all talented experts wouldn't call them elite.

If he goes to a school like that it's going to be grades or other issues, he's small but they take kids that size all the time. It's probably more along the situation I had my senior year with UH. Coach Bradley Peveto recruited me after I blew away a 7 on 7 camp but told me he had to recruit me as an athlete if Anthony Evans committed as a rb, Jones is most likely in the same situation. It's idiodic to think that some seniors now won't have offers three months from now though. Your basically saying recruiters say, "we're only taking kids that have great junior years, forget what they do when they're seniors."I am posting what I know, I was recruited and offered by SFA, Sam, and McNeese as well as other FCS and D2 schools. I didn't get an FBS offer until around January when I committed to Rice after being recruited by Barney Farrarh, two or three days before signing day I found out that I wasn't going to qualify and wanted to take the scholarship offer I had to play db at UH but they were fully committed by then so I went to South Dakota State instead. Coach Farrarh wanted me to go to East Mississippi or Southeast Mississippi JUCO for a year to get my grades up but back then I thought I was above a JUCO. These are the WOS kids for this year, maybe I shouldn't have used the word elite and instead said "being shown interest from multiple FBS schools". The WOS kids are on some FBS schools "wish" list and therefore have impressive offer sheets already.  [Hidden Content]
You are the same one said Sharp from Summer Creek don't have offers because of his release point....I'm not saying he will get offers, but not too many colleges come after QBs until their spring junior season or senior year.....yea some are offered early, but those are the "Elite" ones I guess
He already has been offered by FBS schools last summer so I didn't say he wouldn't be offered. I was just saying there is a reason one of the most prolific passers in the state who's been playing in varsity games since he was a freshman didn't have MORE offers. He does drop it down and sling it from right above the shoulder pads. I said in post numerous times I thought he was going to be in the ESPNU 150 so that tells you what I think. If you read what I put you would see I said I thought he would go to the Big 12 or SEC, I'm sure he'll probably pick up double digit offers in the spring and summer. You should probably read mine before you post yours, come on now your acting like May.
Lmbo!  ;D now see, I'm not acting like her...I'm gonna put a picture of Sharp's release on the thread " memorable year for Sharp" and you look at it and comment. But back to central QB, I'm still looking for his highlights, and I saw where he had Texas Tech as a school of interest, maybe they will offer him in January

We won District....we enter a new district and we were picked to finish 2nd, and were told we can't beat BH, Crosby or Dayton...guess what? We won District....they say Vidor would beat us, guess what...Blowout...this game will be a good game against Georgetown, and the best team that day, will win. As long as our SC boys fight a good fight, we will still be proud.....so really, some people don't give credit when credit is due ::)
Bring home a State title.
Hey, at least we are position to do so :)
This is true...but we already have 3...PN-G will be back up and running...you can be sure of that. Each time we came out and over powered the competition with our high powered offense. I'm convinced NO team has seen an offense like SC this year. PN-G, Crosby, Dayton & Vidor are all very proud teams that never imagined it was possible to have 45+ points hung on 'em.  I'm not about to start doubting SC's offense now. SC's defense is the wild card in this game. They need to have a solid game and keep Georgetown to slow scores.  Our DB's need some picks.  The arm tackles must stop. I've never seen Georgetown play and I'm really curious to see if they're the another "great team" that's never seen a team of SC's level.
I cannot wait until a team blows out the Mighty Summer Creek Bulldawgs... Rather it will be Pearland Dawson or Nederland.
And we can't wait until Nederland get the breaks beat off them.....y'all barely beat Dayton, and Vidor.....we waiting to see what the Almighty bull pups will do

Where SC would have trouble is on defense. I've seen some mammoth O-lineman on those teams. That aside, SC matches up well. Northshore needs to win some 7-on-7 vs SC in the offseason before trying to beat us in d regular season. Katy owns Northshore anyway. Katy has a smooth striding running back, but that dude is SLOW. I don't see SC going 5A. If anything, Atascocita might drop down to 4A.
Katy would shut you guys out! IMO!
Katy would shut you guys out too.....they would shut out everybody in 4a IMO
BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!    Let me know when yall are ready to play some real football.  The fact that you think you could even line up against Katy and not get beat to the tune of 20-30pts just goes to show you how truly delusional you are. We are Texas High School Football We have 70-80+ kids on our Varsity roster and over 320+ kids in our football program.  To your 40-50 kids on varsity?  180-200 kids in the program?  You aren't even playing the same game.    We have a history of destroying Humble ISD teams.    I have seen WAY better Humble ISD teams lose to a lot less then what we currently have this year. the puppies are cute, but not anywhere near talented enough to beat The Tigers.
BA BAM!
y'all are crazy. Who said we can hang with Katy? Katy has way more kids than us, and they are a powerhouse 5a team, a lot of teams can't hang with Katy, now go fly a Kite and worry about SouthLake Carroll or somebody ;)
 18.
Wow the top half is brutal; Nederland, Summer sausage, Pearland, Angleton, and Georgetown. Could be a State Champ in that bunch.
Okay, Port Neches got drove, why are you calling us Summer sausage >:(

The battle of "No Respect" teams. Neither got much love throughout the season from pollsters. GT played in the shadows of Leander, Cedar Park and even LT all year. I got GT in this one. I think they played the tougher schedule.
i fail to agree that this is summer creeks first "test" .. coming into 19-4a we were considered to be the underdogs that we was going to be testing with our schedule and we passed all 10 of the test including BH and dayton that they said we weren't ready for but we won 45-7 and vidor another test which it was but we won with a pretty decent margin .. now gtown,  not saying this wont be a cakewalk or easy task but ion think its nothing we cant handle
If you consider BH, Dayton and Vidor a test then you are new to the game! Dayton was in dissaray and BH and Vidor are one dimmensional offenses. Granted you scored alot against a pretty good defense in Vidor, but this will be the first legit dual threat offense and tuff defense you have faced.
thats a test for any new team like us .. casue its always a team that someone says is a test then once we win , the NEXT team is a test , THEN win then next is a test .. i just wonder when people will just give credit where its due .. but we'll see how it all plays out .. like i said it should be a good game
Wow. Talk about little man syndrome. Everyone here has given you credit. But we don't expect up to walk all over anyone y'all face. Saying a team is a test is not a lack of respect. Good grief.
I absolutely agree with summercreek4, every time we play someone and win, oh SC haven't been tested yet....everybody say we were in a weak district last year, and we were picked to finish 5th, guess what? We won District....we enter a new district and we were picked to finish 2nd, and were told we can't beat BH, Crosby or Dayton...guess what? We won District....they say Vidor would beat us, guess what...Blowout...this game will be a good game against Georgetown, and the best team that day, will win. As long as our SC boys fight a good fight, we will still be proud.....so really, some people don't give credit when credit is due ::)
 20. Any highlights on this kids?
 21. Yes he will switch, they already listing him as an athlete
 22.
"Vidor needs a legit passing attack n your team would be REALLY dangerous." If Vidor had a legit passing attack, it would be Vidor playing on Saturday. The run strategy takes too long to score, when a team get's behind. A pass strategy would allow a team to score quickly, and close the gap quickly.
Yea but I don't know about them playing on Saturday, remember SC offense would have kept striking too ;)
