[/quote] This is a perfect example of how these message boards should be between two teams that both have aspirations of winning.  I'm so tired of the negativity the majority of 19-4A carries.  Dayton has class, most of BH has class, SC thinks they are God's gift of perfection to the world in high school football while all the while their enrollment doubles most 4A schools.  The talent pool to choose from there is unreal and if any other school had the numbers they had to choose from I know that their egos would be at bay.  Personally, I'm a Vidor fan.  I know that Vidor has some fans that have been known to run their mouth a bit but compared to SC it's absurd.  I have NEVER seen a more classless bit of individuals.  Respect is earned, not bestowed.  Good luck to both Nederland and Dayton.  I'll be pulling for Nederland but will refuse to spit on and slander Dayton's name like other posters on this website have (SC).  Dayton is a very talented team and their fans have a true pride for their team rather than a disdain for everyone else that ISN'T their team. Even though the stats against good teams said Dayton couldn't move the ball and they didn't, you have to throw them out the window. The stats said Dayton was having trouble with the run and that SC could sling it all over the field, even though Dayton got it ran down their throat and Sharp chunked it all over the place you have to throw the numbers out of the window. I know Vidor only averages 32.6 passing yards per game with 1 td and 4 ints, but they really can throw it if they need to. They also average 400 ypg rushing and have breakaway speed. As much heart as these kids have, I would just tell Sharp not even to come down the beltway. Dayton played a bad game, BH is the real measuring stick. I know y'all only scored in the twenties one time this year but you haven't seen Vidor's slot-t, ball control offense. It's way better than the BH offense that had 3 pts in the 4th quarter against y'all. Even though BH and Crosby played y'all closer, Dayton and their 111 total yards was you toughest test, not Crosby and their 459 yards with 21 points (both are most of anybody in the district). You hadn't been tested before BH either, even though you beat Dayton at home worse than any playoff team in 19-4a. District play is over though, so now Vidor and their smash mouth style will play you closer than anybody has so far. They'll be the 2nd team since district to break 20 pts along with being the 2nd to hold you under 30. They are going to hit you hard and have a lot of heart, and since you haven't seen that so far this year I have to go with Vidor . . . . . . . to keep it within 30    [/quote] Honestly I haven't commented too much on this Vidor vs SC thread. 1. I just wanted us to beat the crap out of Dayton and that's it 2. I don't know much about Vidor , and the other playoff teams But cougar14, you are funny...you say something different about the same subject every time . I have no choice but to believe you just have no clue. Even though I had beef with the Dayton ppl, and believe Nederland will beat them, especially if no changes are made on their offense, but out of all honesty.....I want all the 19-4a teams to win, and make a deep run in the playoffs....that will represent and show our tough district we play in, and show everybody else, 19-4A, is where all the real Football players are  8)
