So after 3 complete innings........BC leads this one 4-0!!!!!

Third batter is Carthage pitcher....Baker......hits a liner to short but makes a error on the throw to first to try for the double play....runner moves to 2nd with 2 outs. Next batter is a grounder on the third base side for a hit.........runners at 1st and 3rd with two outs. Rollins is the batter....goes full on the count....pop foul out......no damage. After one inning.........0-0.......both teams have left two runners on.

BC are visitors......in the top of the first, they got two on with two out, but the next batter grounded out for the third out. Bottom of the first, Meeks pitching for BC, walks the first batter after going full count on him.......so there we are......runner on first with no outs.

Hup.....thats what I mean BC puts Carthage out.....then either BC or Jasper goes to STATE!! I like Jasper, but am a true Cardinal fan!!

Time for my Cards to put an end to Carthage and we have a all district 21 regional!!

Whoops.........wife intervened.....somebody got in to sub for Jasper...did not hear who??? Think it was the kid who ran into the wall earlier in the playoffs during practice!! The announcer commented that the kid was not allowed to play sports for a year. He got to come in for one pitch....which was placed where the batter could not hit it.......then he came out......what a nice thing to do for the kid!! Congrats to him, the coach and the team!!!
